  The hotel was fresh, clean and new with efficient friendly staff at a brilliant budget price. The room was spotless with comfy beds which were cleaned and made up despite us only staying 2 nights. The layout of the room was very clever and made excellent use of the space making the room feel bigger despite a double, single bunk and cot being prese... ce que les gens disent » nt. - It was a great place to stay for what we needed and staff was very friendly and helpful, price was right, our only complaint was that we didn't realize it was out of Bayeux approx. 4Kms and we didn't have a rental car (and there weren't any to rent in town) so we needed to taxi everywhere and that got a bit pricey.

  One of the best places we have ever stayed, and we travel a lot. The house is absolutely beautiful and extremely well decorated, great taste. A wonderful, big room, with wooden floors, polished and clean and a view on the park in front of the house. The location was perfect for walking to the sites and to public transportation and right across from a large quiet park. The rooms were well decorated and very spacious. Ours looked over the garden on one side and the park on the other side. It was a very peaceful and relaxing atmosphere. The bed was very comfortable. Breakfast was delicious and filling and available for a reasonable time period.

  Le restaurant etait vraiment bon. La ville de bayeux est vraiment agreable avec de belles ballades et visites (tapisserie de bayeux). - Nous avions une chambre spacieuse. La vue sur le petit jardin etait sympa. Le cinema juste en face. Le restaurant est vraimen tres bon.

William, our host, was very hospitable and gave excellent tips on things to see and do. In fact, the places he pointed out to us were probably the highlights of our tour of the D-Day sites. It is also a great point for day tripping to all parts of the Normandy coast and WWII Invasion points of interest. We stayed 3 nights and could have found enough activities for many more nights.
