This hotel is a in a great location next to the lakes and the night
market. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Its like a boutique
hotel and the rooms and layout are a nice change to the typical big
hotel in china. They can do laundry for you at a good price which was
great to have. Breakfast is good and at a fair price for a hotel, with a
very nice view.

This is basically a backpackers hostel, and although I wouldn't consider myself to be in this particular demographic, it seemd to tick all the right boxes. The location was fine, with good access to restaurants, tours etc. Facilities were generally clean and tidy, wifi ok, plus pretty good spoken English by the front office staff.

We were so surprised when we arrived in the Riverside. It was very cheap so we weren't expecting too much. However, we had a lovely spacious room with a river view. The room was very comfortable and clean. The staff were extremely polite and helpful. The food was delicious. We couldnt have asked for more. We really enjoyed our stay here and would highly recommend it. It was very close to the night market and the bus station.

While not close to the main Guilin tourist sites, you can reach most of them by a pleasant 30-40 minute walk or by a short taxi ride.

This is probably the best hotel in Guilin: good services, fresh air, green location inside a botanic garden, a perfect zen garden with a pool, lake and tea house - you will feel like an emperor!
Other aspects:
- good wifi;
- diverse breakfast;
- staff is ok with english;
- free pickup from airport and free ride from the hotel to the exit of the botanic garden;
note: that the hotel is not central but it's close to the bus and there is a mall just outside of the garden

When we left for the airport, we left our expensive camera behind somewhere in the reception room. From the airport, we rang up and a girl named Qing?confirmed finding a camera bag c/w telescopic lense. We called our tour guide to pick it up and sent to the airport. Thank you Sapphire Hotel staff. You are so honest.

The hotel is located at the walking street in the center of the city. It is a very busy street, with lots of clubs open late at night. But we got a room that was not facing the street, so it was still nice and quiet in the evening. It is walking distance to most attractions, and the staff was really helpful.

The staff can speak English and can help you booking trips everywhere around Guilin, rice terraces, Li river, Yangshuo.
Longji rice terraces are awesome and if I'll ever go there another time, I'll spend a nice in Longji because it's the real Chinese countryside.

It's located in the town center, near the river, in a quiet position but close enough to go everywhere in Guilin walking -
Did bigger review of chain for Nanning branch. Fantastic. Staff so
friendly and nice, hadn't even stayed there yet and let us store
luggage while we visited Longji rice terraces. Common room is varied and
fun and very comfortable, fine for dining too. In fact fantastic
location for busy city since on tiny plaza right on river: such a
respite from urban area since you look out and all you see is trees so
feel like in treehouse. My kids loved it, and they are a good measure of

This is medium size hotel (inn), clean and cozy . Location was great, close to practically everything on foot. Bus on the doorstep and taxis are cheap. Across the road, pedestrian only area full of small shops and restaurants. Bank of China 300 m and plenty of ATM.
