  J'ai résidé au Fort Gary il y a plus de 20 ans le Directeur s'appelait Aziz Bocti. Le propriétaire était Monsieur Malenfant. J'ai trouvé cet hôtel plein de charme et aussi le service très bien. A cette époque la cuisine n'était pas top mais peu importe il y a une âme au Fort Gary et c'est cela tout le charme de cet hôtel. The atmosphere is relaxing and the location is great for walking to various parts of the city. The accommodations are clean and comfortable and hold a bit of Winnipeg history within their walls. This trip I was also able to enjoy the wonderful music performed in the Palm Room by a very talented pianist, Ferro - relaxing and reflective and truly enjoyable. I went in for one drink and stayed for over two hours. The complimentary coffee delive - I loved the attention to detail, the cleanliness of the rooms and of the hotel in general. It gave us the experience of slipping back in time. Most important was the human connection--the friendliness and graciousness of the staff. Our questions and requests were responded to quickly and politely. The only slight exception to this was the young woman who checked us out on the last day. She was just a bit brusque with me and this was an unfortunate last but important connection. Otherwise, every
