The staff at Front desk. When I checked in , there was a staff name Jeromie. He was very welcoming and very helpful in checking in his system for a Room with good view. He had all chance for rejecting our request, but he didn't. Secondly during our stay , our room service was great where we felt every day we were given a new room (except our mess

I liked the hotel room, it was clean and very quiet. The staff were
very friendly.
I also loved the location its in walking distance to all main pubs and stores downtown.
So I liked the hotel for the location.

The view, the front desk staff. With the exception of 1 waitress ( who was proficient in her job ) those who waited on our table were lacking in some skills.

This place is fantastic!! I loved everything about it! My new favorite place to stay! I will be reccomending it to veryone! So clean, friendly staff, and complementary breakfast in the morning was amazing! Keep up the good work! Youll be seeing me again, for sure -

J'ai vraiment apprécié le style architectural et la décoration. Un retour dans l'histoire de St John's. -
I loved the look of the building. The room was cozy and the bed was like sleeping on a cloud. Breakfast was awesome. Meeting Karen was like I knew her my whole life. Welcoming and friendly. I will book there again, for sure. -

The location of the Inn was great!! I walked everywhere.

downtown, easy walking distance for everything in the downtown area,
nice to have wifi and long-distance calling included in price of room. I
can see this being great for a group of epople travelling together,
sharing the sitting/dining rooms, as well as kitchen.

Everything, I always stay at hillview with sporting events, it's the best bang for your buck and I can keep the team together. It's very close to everything but still far enough away that the noise of St. John's don't keep you awake at night. I recommend hillview to whomever I know :) -

I was impressed with the all the staff, who were very friendly, very helpful with our questions about local events and destinations. My impression is that the Hotel is well managed, and the staff are very well trained. The Hotel is beautifully laid out in refurbished 19th century buildings on the harbour front. The hotel is as central as one can get in St. John's, only one block off the main shopping and sight seeing streets.
I am sure that we will go back again.

I had the pleasure of visiting a friend who was staying on the 1st floor.
I can only comment on the room. I thought it was a 10. One of the nicest decorated/furnished rooms of any hotel I have stayed in. The bathroom white marble was stunning.
