  There is plenty of space, though the rooms are very basic. It's definitely nice to have a kitchen. The cost is less than a regular hotel, and the campus was nice and quiet when we were there in August.

  Kind staff, simple but very clean rooms. Parking right in front of your room. Coffee and cereals for breakfast. The motel actually sits on a hillcrest and offers nice views of the sea. Stayed there twice and can only recommend it to anyone on their way through St John (wouldn't spend much time in the city though). - It was very clean. It was very comfortable, affordable and provided me with everything I needed for an enjoyable stay. The office staff was very personable and welcoming.

  Motel has leisure vacationers and industrial business workers. Staff puts business people on one side of motel bldg. and vacationers on the other--a good idea. Workers socialize and talk in and around their rooms. Room was clean, bed remade daily and new towels too. But liked the room rate the most.   The owner was extremely pleasant and helpful. Gave good directions and recommendations. While not fancy, the facility was very clean and well maintained. Very good value.   So appreciate Sharon, the host, did lots to me. As a backpacker without a car, somehow is unconvient. She gave me a quick tour somewhere further and told me those interesting histories. Also, she's so friendly just like a mom look after kids who travles outside, very easy going and offers good quality of staying. Would like to go back again sometime. - Sharon is a real friendly and welcoming lady, felt right at home even greeted me with her new kitten couldn't have made my stay nicer. Would highly recommend to anyone needing comfy clean bed to stay here very affordable.

  The lady at the front desk when we checked in around 8 p.m. is an absolute gem. I believe her name was Debbie and she was so kind, and welcoming and helpful - just delightful.   The staff went out of their way. It was an extremely hot weekend and the ice machine was down. They went and bought ice and brought it to our room. - Everything was clean and orderly, staff very nice. Breakfast offerings typical for continental.

  Asked for linking exterior door for co/room mate smoker and got exactly that. Price was good for the short distance to Uptown Saint John. Front staff recommended restaurants and bars and was very helpful. - Tremendous staff. Very accomodating. Handy to everything for shopping, sight seeing.

  We stayed at the mansion on 71 Sydney Street. It was absolutely fabulous! I can't say enough good things about it. It had everything we needed and more! I would highly recommend this hotel. - Beatutiful old building and the room was lovely, with huge bed which was about five foot off the floor. Great central location
