While pricey - this resort is worth every penny - the rooms are beautifully appointed with excellent views of the bay, ocean or forest. The Wild Pacific Trail is easily accessed and enjoyed from the lodge. The restaurant and cafe were well priced with excellent menus. Ucluelet is a great town for wildlife viewing - stay around this area for the best chance at sea otters.

Good location near the Gallopping Goose Trail in Sooke, BC at 37km from Victoria. 65km cycle trip from Swartz Bay. Rooms very clean and spacious. Beds very comfortable. Great breakfast. Friendly and helpful host.

The honeymoon suite and similar oceanfront suites are superb...spacious, warm, inviting, inspiring, romantic, tranquil. The food preparation is exquisite with a generous menu variety. The wonderfully groomed landscape and gardens are a very special part of why we choose to return, as is the ocean vistas. Every room at the resort has an ocean view.

We had asked for a ground floor room which was not available but as the hotel had an elevator that wasn't a problem. Nevertheless the hotel upgraded our room for us which was finished to a very high standard. It had high ceilings and a kitchen area and very modern bathroom. Sorry we were only staying one night. -

The location is good, I could hear the sound of waves and sea birds and see the ocean in the room. The style of this accomodation is resort not hotel( this is normal in Tofino). Every cabins are separated each other. The one building has 6 rooms. That was so quiet. The room was small but cozy. The staff are so kind and friendly, they helped me join some activities.

The first thing that impressed us was the attentive and accommodating staff. Then it was the cleanness if the hallways and rooms. We also thought the design and the colour palettes were pleasing, restful, and reflective of a seashore setting. Finally. We loved this guest house, the owners are so friendly and it really is a home from home. The hot tub is great and there is an enclosed garden which was great for a son to run around in and the owners even bought toys down for him to play with. We would definitely book again, we were sad to leave -

The spa studio is the perfect size for a cozy getaway for singles or couples! The space is used so well, making it feel open and spacious. It is lovely and private, but still with a nice community of neighbors close by- which is great if you want to go up with a bunch of people! So close to the beach, so worth the decent price tag!!! The staff were friendly and very helpful. Room was clean and comfortable. Location beautiful: water/island views and gardens. Close to bus stop to/from Victoria/Swartz Bay. A short bus ride from The Buchart Gardens. Nice short/flat walk to lovely town centre. Has a do it yourself laundry.
