  If I lived in Gananoque, I would want to become personal friends with Lisa and Mike (the hosts); they are genuine unpretentious people with a great sense of humour, and excellent and intelligent conversationalists with a wide view of the world. There is no surprise why they have achieved such an incredible approval rating. I was in the "King Room" . - The whole experience was terrific. This is a lovely B&B with extremely comfortable accommodations, fabulous breakfasts, and warm, welcoming, and very informative hosts. We had a great time and would definitely recommend the Islandview Inn to anyone interested in visiting the beautiful 1000 Islands region on the St. Lawrence River.

There were ample towels, and the kitchen was well-equipped. Very cozy and fun to have total access to the house and all the amenities including laundry.

  The room was small but very comfortable. The colors in the room were muted, relaxing shades. Front desk person was very helpful, friendly. Had problems with the tv and the other front desk person came right to our room to assist us. (It was a very simple fix.) We were on the backside of the hotel so it was quiet. The office area was very clean at all times, and the breakfast supplies were readily available and fresh. We were given one of the freshly renovated rooms, which was very nice. I would stay there again in a heartbeat.
