Setting and accommodation was perfect for us. Field is a tiny place and very quiet set on the valley floor in the Rockies with spectacular views of the mountains. Excellent accommodation - exceptionally clean and comfortable. Luc was a superb host and helped with planning our days out. Field is an attractive small town - take advantage of the talks/tours provided by 'Friends of Yoho'. We had an informative walking tour of the town.

The inn is well situated by the water and is a perfect spot for just relaxing or exploring the middle west coast of Vancouver Island. The owner, Teo, was most helpful and gracious and even gave us (senior couple) an upgrade to the honeymoon suite!. As there was to be a planned power outage at 8:00 the next morning, she did all she could to suggest ways and means to cope with the problem. We had a short stay but a pleasurable one.

The motel was extremely clean and was updated very tastefully. The owners were friendly and you could tell that they took pride in their motel. I wouldn't hesitate to stay there again and even if a more updated hotel/motel was available I would still choose the Lido for it's charm and ambience. -
