We liked the freedom of self- catering & the space in the 1 bedroom chalet we had booked. It was really comfortable and spotlessly clean. Although you have to travel about 3 km down a dusty gravel road to get there, it is worth it. Cedar Park Resort has manicured grounds and friendly staff/owners. Our accommodation was a 2 bedroom duplex cabin which was very clean and it had all the amenities we needed for a relaxing stay. Playing cards were even provided. The atmosphere was casual and relaxing. I would stay again and I recommend the resort.

quicker to heat up on the cold days we were here. Mini-fridge,
microwave, tv, lots of pillows, coffeemaker with good coffee...all the

・Some people say this hostel is a bit noisy because the first floor is a bar but for me it's no problem. I stayed on the second floor (i.e. room 2XX) in this hostel twice and I didn't hear any noise from the bar. -

We loved the "social" part of the hotel as guests were very comfortable and would hang outside and everyone was so friendly to one another. Was very motorbike friendly and everyone felt welcome. Staff were very pleasant and welcoming as well. -

It fitted in with our journey back to mainland vancouver as a one night stop over. This motel was better than a few we had stayed at over our 2wk vacation and we are glad that we got to see Chemainus town itself what a lovely town.Bed was comfy, fridge worked, tv great, tea and coffee machine worked. Friendly staff, I was able to check in ahead of time. Checkout is 11 am, which is very nice. A liquor store is in walking distance, which gives you a chance of enjoying a stay the dark rooms with thin walls.
