The welcome and organisation was great. the fabulous breakfast and the feeling that you were in a home from home with none of the work! Convenient location, comfortable room, quiet, pleasant and helpful front desk staff. The hotel met my needs as I stayed only briefly. If I was planning to stay longer or had small children with me, I would have wanted to have a car, as the hotel is situated in a high traffic, fairly remote location for a pedestrian/bus rider. -

My brand new husband and I stayed there on our wedding night. We received a complimentary upgrade from a room to a suite. The suite was beautiful, nicely appointed, and very comfortable. Staff is extremely efficient and friendly, breakfast is delicious and different every day, bed is comfy and room has good soundproof walls and windows. We loved fresh coffee and tea station available everyday. Printer available for free to use and coin laundry on site.

We love what Douglas Fir has to offer our two Granddaughters in terms of facilities(the pool, hot tub and play park).
We had a one bedroom chalet which was perfect for us and Douglas Fir provided a playpen and highchair, which meant we did not have to pack them in the car.
We love being able to take the bus for free, and we love the friendly staf

The Waterslides and Indoor Playground were BIG hits with the kids!! The fireplace and free wood were most welcome. The surprisingly convenient and well-stocked store on site was also a welcome convenience. The full kitchen and nearby parking were very handy. The location is far enough from town that it is quiet at night, but a close bus ride, short drive, or half hour walk away from the Resort.

The facilites were fabuluous and the staff was very accomodating. The location was perfect since our trip centered around Banff and Lake Louise. Staying in Canmore was more afforadble and allowed us to sightsee a bit more on the way to our destinations. -

The location, the staff was very friendly and helpful, breakfast was delicious, there was a DVD player in our room, the kitchenette was well furnished. They even delivered a copy of the bill directly to our room for review, so we only needed to stop at the front desk for a minute. -

This hotel is new, well-maintained and the staff are very friendly and helpful. The rooms are well laid out and clean. The fitness centre is above par when compared to many similar hotels. The breakfast is also better than most. Excellent stay. -

The hotel is excellent, really modern. While the rooms are on the small side, it perfectly suited my needs. The reception staff were phenomenal. So courteous and helpful. I loved how close the hotel was to the C-train, just a 5-10 minute walk to the station which meant that I could avoid high taxi fares when going into the city.

Upon check-in we were treated like royalty! We were a group of friends who get together once a year to shop and socialize. The first night was a BBQ, together with the hot breakfasts a definite must-stay for next year! The rooms were spacious and the beds were exquisite! Bravo to the friendly housekeepers, always courteous and smiling! -

Although we did not use the fitness facilities we did check them out and were very impressed. Will definitely make time to use them next visit.

Liked the price, the room was excellent. It had everything we could have ever possibly needed and the bed was so comfortable. We had the best sleep we've had in a very long time! Loved it there! -
