  The beautiful countryside location was just outside Picton. The facility looks new and the room we had was very spacious. We were able to walk to the British style Pub and restaurant where the atmosphere and the food was fantastic. The service was excellent. Fresh eggs supplied by owner along with some produce, snacks and a wealth of brochures and advice.

  My wife and I were extremely pleased with the warm welcome received from the owner Maureen during our three-day visit to Prince Edward County. We received top information on what to see and taste in this wonderful area of Ontario. Maureen sensed immediately that we were gourmet people and she knew exactly where to guide us. We spent the weekend with her, and by the time we left, we felt as though we were leaving an old friend. Also, Saraswati attracts an international clientele--two Swiss couples for us--so in addition to Maureen, you encounter fascinating, friendly fellow guests. All in all, a wonderful weekend in a picturesque setting!

  I really enjoyed the friendliness of the staff. I liked the peacefulness and nature atomospher of the resort. Love the fact that it offers many water activities on site such as canoeing, kayaking etc. close distance to sandbanks beach, offers many sports. I enjoyed my room in the Anex it was updated, sitting area in the back was great to relax. Made the most of my stay and had wonder - We liked the resort location, and enjoyed a great meal in the Veranda in the restaurant, and breakfast in the dining room the next morning. We had hoped to be out on the patio, but the weather was a bit too cool. We did enjoy the lake view from our table, and a wonderful evening sunset. Thank you. Lois and Bob Reichard
