I was traveling with my friend and found out about this hotel in perfect location and for a very good price. Quality and price at its best. Room was very clean, you can adjust heat yourself, free wifi.. Staff was really helpful, advised us what should we see during our stay so it saved our time. The hotel staff was friendly and welcoming with all guests. The hotel was clean and rooms were tidy. Comfortable and clean accommodations located near a variety of desirable neighborhoods. Rue St. Denis, Rue St. Laurent, Old Montreal, the Plateau and the Village are all nearby. It's also just two blocks from the Metro, which will get you just about anywhere. Quiet and off the busy street. Breakfast was okay.

Great place to be while in Montreal. One of the best locations: very close to the Metro (2 stations to the old city...), to the Spectacles Quarter, to St. Denis and the restaurants. Despite some reviews, the location is excellent. Short walk from the
club district, and a 10min metro ride from the cities main attractions,
including Central station. There are the occasional pan handler, etc,
but you'll find these in any city, in subways, parks etc. If that
sort of thing bothers you, you probably shouldn't leave your house.
Its the diversity of life that makes life and adventure.

The Breakfasts were more than expected each day. The Host, Roc took orders for pancakes or omelets each day, enjoyed with the choice of fruit, yogurt, croissants & coffee.

Staff and owners very pleasant and accommodating. Location very
convenient to the Metro and inexpensive parking. We left our car parked
for the entire visit. Beautiful old building with exposed brick and lots
of trim work. Ac in the room (#4) worked well or we could just open one
of the the newer windows. Breakfasts were also one of the high points of
our stay. This will be our first choice for future visits to Montreal.

I stayed in an apartment around the corner from Hotel Stay (part of owner's property as well). Location was great-not far from Park De La Fontaine-wonderful running/walking/biking paths there surrounded by trees. Two minute walk to Metro station. Great customer service! Staff was very helpful though not always available.
