  Manager and housekeeper were very friendly , efficient and accommodating,making sure we had everything they could provide for an enjoyable stay. The utter peace and quiet of the lake in October. Proximity of wildlife to watch and enjoy. Safe, easy walks. Friendly local people and interesting village, all facilities nearby, including laundromat. Garden felt like home, with all needed - We used the Economy Room, which had all of the amenities of the others but was smaller. The bed & pillows were sooo comfortable; the washrooms were fabulous; the common area was ample with firepit and dockside access to the river for swimming in crystal clear warm water. Ample parking.
