  The location and the lodge are absolutely incredible. It is one of the greatest places we have been.The service and the hosts are imazing. There is nothing to add...it was just perfect. - Great location Staffs were friendly and helpful, the owner, Rodolfo was fantastic and lovely. Food was nice Quiet and peaceful

  Ideal location, walking distance to village, but very private and secluded. Mere steps from small beach. Private boat to pick you and your bags up from main dock. Each room has veranda with hammock - lovely to sit and listen to the waves. Front desk staff spoke English and were very helpful. Even have beach towels you can borrow. Fresh, varied bre... ce que les gens disent » akfast. Will go back again and again! - We had a wonderful stay at Sagu and the host, Jean Louis, and all the staff really looked after us. We were with another family and between us we had two toddlers. Our children were made to feel very welcome and the chef's made child friendly meals which we really appreciated. The bungalows had gorgeous beach and garden views and overall our stay was excellent.

  Pousada Riacho Dos Cambucas was amazing! I can not say enough great things about them. Very helpful and nice staff who spoke perfect english. Great room with private bathroom and ac. Delicious breakfast each morning. One night the island lost power and our Pousada still had power! You must stay here when traveling to Ilha Grande! - Friendly staff... ce que les gens disent » . Comfortable air conditioned room with hammock on the balcony. Cleaned daily with fresh towels etc. Shower with hot water. Lovely breakfast with nice choice fruit, juice, yoghurt, several breads, cheese, cooked meats, jams, cakes, herbal teas and coffee etc. Very nice afternoon coffee and cakes.

  The staff was very friendly and spoke fluent English. When we arrived at ilha grande we were immediately picked up by boat to go to the hotel. Although it rained a lot during our stay, the view and the excellent cooking made our stay one to remember for a long time - Bar and restaurant area overlooking the bay (amazing location to have drinks &am... ce que les gens disent » p; food). Excellent service with English speaking staff. Large rooms with views. As it is out if the main town it is very quiet and relaxing.

  Rodrigo and Rita were the friendliest and most helpful people. They spoke excellent English and gave us great tips on where to go and what to do. The breakfasts were superb, homemade cakes were a particular highlight. The surroundings were beautiful, set back in the hills behind abraao with a river running down beside you when you are having break... ce que les gens disent » fast. I would recommend for anyone looking for a relaxing and comfortable stay in Ilha Grande. - Staff is outstanding, Rodrigo and his wife run the place (and live there) and they simply could not be more accommodating. They give great tips about the area, and are always available. The location is fantastic, with the jungle overhead, a river flowing next to the open space, monkeys and birds nearby. The room was nice and clean, no complaints but it is not a luxury resort. The value is outstanding.

  Friendly & helpful staff. Good breakfast, with fresh fruits & cake. Location was good (the village is small, so I guess most locations are Ok) Small fridge in the room. - Josefina, the girl who works at the pousada was really nice to us. She helped to make our stay in Ilha Grande a great one

  The hotel is located only 50 meters from the main dock. The hotel is directly in front of the beach and breakfast is served looking out over the sea. Breakfast is varied, including lots of fresh fruits. The staff speaks English and is very helpfull. The rooms are nice and clean, including a/c and a refrigerator.   The breakfast was excellent and the staff were very helpful. They had a great common area with a book exchange and a reasonably priced self service bar. - Incredibly friendly staff, good price, good accommodation and very comfortable
