Stunning location. I had a room with a balcony viewing the lake. Very friendly and helpful staff. Rooms are very clean, spacious with comfortable beds. Breakfast buffet has all you need.

walk with beautiful scene along the way. Peaceful location and free

Having read many reviews beforehand, it is known that the hotel itself is not in the Hallstatt downtown and does not have a lake view. However, it is strategically located: 1) very near the bus stop and downtown, yet without all the noise; 2) roads to the hotel are flat, no problems for people towing luggages; 3) has a carpark; 4) virtually beside the saltmine cable station and near a waterfall. The whole atmosphere is great (if you like that authentic Austrian style - with the smell of the grass and horses).
We absolutely loved it, especially our balcony with the lake view.
It is a bit off the main road on the hillside. But this is rather an adventage as it is far from the noise. -

nice that has a wonderful lake view and big balcony. The garden of

Everything was perfect. One of the best appartments or hotel I have ever stayed in.
Great peaceful location with beautiful views. Wonderful meadow nearby, cosy garden. The house itself is also great, with nice wooden interior and lovely atmosphere. Very spacious room with large balcony. Everything was very clean and fresh.

Landhaus Fay was a perfect location for our planned day trips to Gosau (Dachstein), Hallstatt and St. Wolfgang in the Salzkammergut. We spent 5 lovely days in Landhous Fay at the beginning of May. The house is situated probably in the best part of Bad Ischl, surrounded by pure nature and still close to the town (about 5-10 minutes by car). Rene and Mark are lovely couple, always helpful and with good advice when it comes to places worth visiting. We were also very satisfied with our room which was very nice designed, so as dinning room. We highly recommend Landhous Fay as a perfect place to stay.

Quite and familiar hotel with very large rooms. Very friendly staff. A few vegetarian dishes in the menu. The way to the town center, is about 15 walking minutes through a very nice scenery. Steyr is worth a visit. It’s a wonderful town. -
