Loved the kindness and friendliness of the staff.The room was very comfortable,best sleep I had in ages.The location was perfect for our needs.My 10yr old daughter felt like a princess with all the old world charm around her.My daughter was treated with politeness and respect she also commented that everyone smiled who worked there,well done!!!!. tous commentaires
Good location if you're happy to walk a little bit or take public transport. Welcoming feel and a more social environment, especially in comparison to hotels. Clean, well decorated with friendly, professional, efficient staff. Really enjoyed staying in a less commercial facility in the city.
I found the Manor Hotel a welcome change from the functional but boring
décor of other hotels in the same price range. I was upgraded for no
extra cost so my room was exceptional but even so it is attractive,
ideally located and all the staff were very helpful.
I loved the history of the Manor House and the celebrity lounge. I also liked the "help-yourself" complimentary continental breakfast, very convenient for early travelers. Free wi-fi was an unexpected bonus too.
Layout and styling of hotel was lovely. Particularly impressed with the lounge area and the free continental breakfast. Absolute value for money in an inner city hotel. Location location location.
Hotel was very comfy and easy goin. My daughter and her husband stayed for two weeks whilst in Sydney and we were all impressed by the atmosphere and the helpfulness of the staff.
The staff we very responsive when we complained about a broken toilet
seat, moving us from, I quote "the smallest room in the hotel"
to another room immediately.
Old-world charm; clean facilities; pleasant and adequate breakfast; quiet; great location; helpful staff. All-in-all a wonderful stay - we shall return.
Our daughter's wedding reception was close by so it was ideal to
stay at overnight (short walk). So suited perfectly our needs.

Everything. Staff were friendly on arrival. I had an up stairs room and my bag was carried up for me. It was a really hot summers day and my room was cool as air con had been turned on in advance for me.
The bed was very comfortable, And I liked that there was a bath in the bathroom.

Though breakfast was perfect for our needs it would have been nice if a little more variety was on offer eg fresh fruit,croissant.
Getting breakfast included at such a competitive price is a bonus but I'd be happier to pay a bit more for the room to have a little more variety in the breakfast. Also, not so keen on sleeping beside a laneway/garage bar (room 19) - perhaps a warning could be attached to rooms affected by such noise, it was pretty significant.
The bedhead hit the window sill every time we moved.
Some variation in breakfast would hav been good. But the breakfast provided was a very good start to the day.
The rooms are quite small along with the bathrooms, but it is a
beautiful hotel, clean and comfortable. The wooden toilet seat was
broken in our bathroom, this is unhygienic and dangerous. We were moved
when we complained.
Stairs challenged us oldies a bit but carpeted and good handrails eased the way!.

The breakfast was a bit of a let-down, but with limited volume of rooms and a long period of availability in the morning, I understand.
The room was a bit on the small side... though the price was right.

Think the place needs a bit of a freshen up looking very tired not too sure how the star system works, must go up to 8 if this place is 4!.
WIFI did not work, and they did not seem to worries when l told them. breakfast was nothing special.
The place needs a deep cleaning and replacement of the dark, stained carpets. I think the hotela hit its peak 30-40 years ago.
