Accommodation was very comfortable,kitchen was a good size with plenty of utensils and all appliances worked well. Good location, quiet but walking distance to hotels,seaside etc. -
Peaceful and quiet, close to dining and shops. Information about dining. The bed was comfortable and big as I requested.Privacy was also good.

The Captain's Apartment was an excellent size with full kitchen. I recommended just a couple of additional implements required. The owner was friendly but unobtrusive. During our stay the weather was extremely wild but we had more than adequate heating and an excellent bed with electric blanket. -

Not being to Portland for a number of years we decided on an overnight stay - chose Bentinck - excellent position, room/facilities tastefully decorated, amazed at being an old hotel did not smell of stale beer or smoke. No noises a comfortable peaceful night was had by both. Staff were very obliging advising/suggesting sites of Portland. -

Really loved their 2 bed apartments. We only stayed 1 night whilst travelling from Adelaide to Melbourne. These apartments are clean, functional, spacious, ideal and worth the money. We liked just about everything about this B&B. When we arrived we
were able to move into our room directly, everything we needed was there
for us to read, the owner, Roger, was available all the time, the room
was wonderful, and the breakfast was very nice. Roger suggested a nice
restaurant to go to, and he even had a nice wine in the sitting room to
enjoy while I worked off of the free wifi. We just loved it there.

It was a cold evening when we arrived, so having a fire already set in the sitting room fireplace was marvellous. The cottage is beautifully appointed and stocked with everything you need. Great birds to see outside. -

Loved our stay at Melaleuca. It is located close to all amenities and the staff very kindly booked us in to the furthest room away from the road. Service was brilliant. The room was clean, bright and spacious. It was excellent value for money. We will stay again and highly recommend it to everyone. -
