Julie and graham were fantastic hosts. Graham cooks a wonderful breakfast and there are penty of other options available too (although we stuck to the yummy cooked breaky).
The rooms are lovely and comfortable. Julie actually contact us before our trip asking if we wanted to change to the bigger Campbell room (for a small increase in price), which we accepted (and glad we did).

The hosts were extremely friendly without being intrusive. The room was very comfortable and well furnished. The position of the B and B was perfect for access to the Tamar and the Gorge.
Breakfast was delicious with a great selection.
We were very happy with our visit and would certainly return there. -

We loved our time at Alice's cottages!!! From the moment we arrived we were greeted with the warmest hospitality and service!! We adored the decor, care and attention to detail in regards to all aspects of the cottages and will now only stay here when we visit Launceston!! Best bed and breakfast we have stayed at. -

My wife and I stayed at Ashton Gate with another couple and we were all very impressed. The house is a beautiful Victorian bungalow, filled with antique furniture and ornaments, in the Victorian style and set in a magnificent garden filled with flowers. Everything was well maintained, spacious, and very comfortable.

If you like old-world charm, you should like Ashton Gate. It's spacious, nicely decorated room, with large, clean modern bathroom. Excellent breakfast in dining room; use of comfortable sitting room any time, with tea, coffee, home-made biscuits and even a nightcap from a crystal decanter if you so wish. House is well lit at night - easy to find your way in. Jennifer's suggestions for places to dine were welcome. Thank you for a wonderful Tasmanian winter stay.

I have stayed at the Clarion four times and each time I have been impressed by the friendly, but professional service. The rooms are so comfortable, it is like going home. I would always chose the Clarion when in Lauceston. The position is ideal, within easy walking distance to all the facilities and restaurants. -

The suite that we had for 2 nights was excellent, comfortable king-size
bed, huge bathroom with spa shower, spa bath, double hand basins and
toilet plus another toilet and hand basin in a room off the lounge area.
2 televisions with some Foxtel channels. The suite had distant views of
the lake. There was valet parking provided. We ate in the resort and the
evening buffet meals were very good.

I liked the fact that we had a sizeable suite (i.e. bedroom separate lounge & kitchen) for a similar price to what others were charging just for a motel room. It was close to the CBD, even though the road was reasonably quiet. Restaurant brekky very good and great value. -

Lovely location on the water at Launceston. Our room overlooked the River - was very spacious and comfortable. Could easily have stayed here for a couple of weeks. Light, airey and well located with a choice of restaurants right around it. -
