  A couple of things could do with a lick of paint here and there, but we were entirely satisfied with our stay. The bed and pillows were very comfortable, very hot water and lots of it.   We liked that it was close to our destination for a Saturday night wedding. We were very appreciative of Rupet who did reimburse us for parking at Novotel and received a car spot. The staff were very friendly on the Friday and Saturday but not so talkative on the Sunday as new staff were on - love the country cottage theme.   We spend a couple of nights there, and honestly it was just an amazing time! The staff is really friendly and really helpful. The accommodation is really nice, with terrace, a nice tv plasma, a little kitchen, and a nice bathroom ( an really clean!)! Everything for a great price ! Location is good in terms of accessing Brisbane's CBD. Communal Dining & cooking facilities, lounge & television area at front - a great area to relax with a drink, and they are licenced as well. Rooms comfortable & clean with fridge and tea/coffee making facilities. - Excellent location with a lovely view of the old museum and easy access to the facilities of fortitude valley. The covered terrace is a lovely place to have a drink or a meal. Lots of wood and quirky old things in the public parts with a well-equipped kitchen. It was nice to have coffee, tea, milk and water in the room.
