Mantra had entered the wrong dates into my booking. When I contacted them (after my stay) with the error, they immediately refunded the difference that I'd had to pay for the upgraded room. They were very friendly and helpful in correcting their error. -

location close to South Brisbane rail station with direct line to
airport. 10 minute walk to centre of Brisbane and 5 min walk from
southbank and cultural centre where there are numerous great
restaurants. 15 minute easy walk to Suncorp stadium. Friendly helpful
staff. Breakfast at the recommended street cafe was vast and best
value I had in whole 3 week trip. Although this isn't in centre
of Brisbane it is ideally located.

I have stayed in 4and 5 star hotels which would not rate as well as South Central. Design, decor and layout were excellent. A bonus also is the rooftop pool. We stayed in a Delux Hotel Room and was quite surprised at the amount of room especially as there was 3 adults sharing the room. We have stayed several times before but only in 1 and 2 bedroom apartments. Service was excellent as usual. One of our favourite places to stay.

There is a mini kitchenette and tools which are sufficient to cook a meal. The hotel staff was also friendly and he allowed us to place our baggages at a safe room while roaming about in the city prior to leaving for the airport. The hotel also has a phone to dial for the taxi which is very convenient for travellers who does not have a cellphone to book a taxi.

I loved it's location in Park Road next to the restaurants- great for Sunday breakfast.
And it was lovely having a river view from the balcony- very relaxing sitting there with a coffee.
I also liked the interior design- where the front doors overlook the lobby.
