I had spent three days hiking so was looking for a hotel room with a spa bath. The Heritage Hotel room was perfect. The spa filled fairly quickly, there was plenty of hot water and the jets were strong. The towels were large and very soft. The motel room was spacious with a dining setting and microwave as well. We were a family of 5,booked 2bdroom and there were 4 single beds and a double !! Wonderful ..so much space for us, with a cute little kitchen/dining.with microwave...convenient location with many shops and cafes within walking distance. Recommend it to families,with

The bed was very comfortble and the thick curtains was great for a sleep
in. Also the double glazing on the windows made for a quiet night's
stay, which was surprising as the Motel was reasonably close to the main

My husband and I got married at Yester Grange with our reception at Mountain Heritage on the 30 October. We had about 60 guests and many said it was a surreal experience because the view was so amazing. The hotel staff, Dean especially, ensured that the whole event went off so smoothly. Loved the prepared fire-place, view fantastic from both our room and the dining room. Staff were helpful (and lovely to our 4 year old), and it was only a short walk to the shops, and bus to explore the area. Kept the historical feel but it's been well maintained...and modernised with fast efficient air-con etc. We have already recommended this place to our friends, and will be back!

The hotel was in easy walking distance of the Three Sisters which was ideal as car parking charges there can be quite expensive. An ideal location for exploring the Blue mountains. We were there when the forest fires were raging but everything was under control. There were many fire fighters staying at the hotel and loads of fire trucks parked around the streets so we felt quite safe. Added to the excitement really.

I recently stayed at the Carrington with a sibling. Our grandparents had honeymooned there in the 1920s. The olde world charm, sense of history and beautiful architectural features are so impressive. Scrabble in the Billiard room, reading in the Library, hot chocolate in the Main Lounge in front of an open fire. The magnificent leadlight windows and original paintings only enhance the hotel's unique beauty. I personally would never stay anywhere else while in Katoomba. The huge buffet breakfast

We stayed only 2 nights at 3 Explorers and had a really relaxing comfortable stopover, The room was well above our expectations, well equiped and furnished with excellent taste. The staff were great, friendly and able to give good acurate and uptodate information on local attractions.

Very nice attention, the host was really helpful with everything we needed, and he was always worried about giving us the maximum comfort. The beds where very big, the room was completely well equipped with all kitchen staffs, and the location was very good. The wifi access was very good and the place clean. Also the rooms where well acclimated. I reallyrecomend it.

We found the staff to be pleasant and helpful. They were happy to give advice on what to do and where to eat and we liked their laid back nature.
The hotel itself is old and quaint, like something from a movie! We loved the furniture, the fireplaces, pool table and the bar. We enjoyed a drink there before heading out to dinner.
The location is ideal, beside the RSL and a quick walk to the centre of town.

The staff were great! Very happy for a chat and accomodating of any requests. The room was pleasant with a big enough bath, different sized pillows (thank you for the option!) and cosy reverse cycle air con. The lounge area was well used by us. We curled up in front of the fire with a good book and a bottle of wine one afternoon and just relaxed:)

Perfect location in the heart of Katoomba. Beautifully renovated to restore it's old glory in the public areas - while having modern, clean, spacious rooms with brand new bathrooms. Even with two king beds and a fold up single bed in a family room there was still plenty of room to move around.

The B&B is quaint and it resembles the period that is was built perfectly. Even though it is an old building the renovations done to include ensuites are very tasteful and do not detract from the interior. It is centrally located betwween the 3 sisters and Katoomba town and both are an easy walk. If you looking for a place to stay with several

Staff exceptionally welcoming and personable towards all guests. The rooms were really clean, comfortable and homey. There was a huge range of DVDs to watch. The breakfast was vast and delicious. Complimentary port in each room to enjoy! Free wifi. Real warm, homely feeling. The two delightful family dogs that live outside, wonderful! It was located between the Three Sisters and Katoomba town, easily walkable.

Lurline House was an absolute gem, or should I say that Peter and Suzanne were absolute gems. From the moment we arrived we felt like part of their extended family and were treated accordingly. Amazing view, incredibly comfortable and cheerful atmosphere, as well as the proximity to all main touristic spots! Echo Point and Three Sisters are just in 1-3 minute walk. Very comfortable and clean. Veronica extremely friendly, great breakfast, lovely extras such as home baked goodies, port and chocolate in room. The loft spa suite was a real treat, warm and cosy, lovely views from room and dining room. Fabulous location. Highly recommend.
