  The proprietors were outstanding. We arrived having lost the use of our credit card as it had been cancelled due to online fraud. Our debit card turned out to be out of date. We were in the embarrassing situation of not being able to pay short of doing a direct bank transfer. He also promptly phoned the taxi company to ensure we would not miss o - Great room with fridge so you can prepare your own meals if on a budget! Staff were fantastic, knowledgeable about the area, helped us plan where to go, which buses to get and even helped us with setting up an Australian mobile (this was our first stop of our year in Australia)... 5 star service couldn't have asked for better hosts!   Majority of staff were friendly and helpful. I requested a cot for my 6 month old daughter upon booking the room and it wast forgotten about (most hotels forget this). Valet parking was excellent and staff were available and helpful when i needed an extra hand to put pram and baby in the car. Very comfortable and felt welcome. The bed was very comfortable. We also appreciated the cold water in our vehicle when we collected it each day. Loved the art in the foyer.

  We had 2 days in a unit with an excellent view of Stokes Hill wharf, and 1 day in a 'city view' room, which was significantly smaller, but still very acceptable. Only a 10 minute walk to the city centre, but there was a lot of facilities (tourism, eating) nearby. - The rooms were large and very clean.
