  The full kitchen and laundry facilities, close to everything. Modern facilities, nice pool (a lot of hotels in Cairns are very dated from the 1980s tourist boom I think). There was a mix-up when we were checking in and we were quoted a much higher price than we booked, but for a Harbourview room. We ended up getting a Harbour view room anyway but ... ce que les gens disent » paying a really great price! Loved the view and the location. Also, they provide all eco-products for laundry, dish-washing etc., not just the standar - Great location. Right beside the marina and very close to the city. Lots of choices of nice restaurants just downstairs. Staff are extremely helpful. Helped us with all the bookings of shuttle bus and site visits. The studio hotel apartment was great value of money. The ocean view from the balcony was fantastic. Can't wait to come back to Harbour Lights for our next Cairns holiday!

  We were originally meant to only stayed 4 nights but we stayed the entire 8 of our holidays! It is definitely worth the price you pay. Our room was serviced everyday by the friendly house keepers and were always greeted by the friendly, helpful service desk people. The people at the service desk will always help you book tours, taxi, shuttle bu... ce que les gens disent » ses and all. Webber whom was a staff member was mainly a huge help to my partner and I!! The breakfast buffet is amazing. They offer a huge variety of - Absolutely loved our stay at the Rydges Esplanade Resort. The staff were helpful and friendly and nothing was too much trouble. We checked in prior to 2pm due to a flight reschedule and even though the hotel was close to full the staff did everything they could to get us into our room as quickly as possible which was greatly appreciated. The rooms were very clean and spacious. We had a mountain view room which had stunning views of Cairns at night. If your out during the day, I'd recommend this
