The location was excellent, the room (1 b/room appartment) was very clean and had every thing you would need away from home. Staff were friendly & helpful especially when there was a mix up with my booking, my room had been prepared. Good value for your money. Even the guests staying at Cascade were friendly. I will stay there again next time

The Glenda and Chenora were wonderful, welcoming and helpful.The rooms were clean and spacious, and the location was far enough from the center of town to be quiet... but close enough to be walking distance. The outside decor was nice, and the pool/BBQ area looked nice and clean. In-room laundry was a definite bonus.

It was our first visit to High Chaparral, but hopefully not the last.The room was very clean and comfortable. Enough packing space. Bed was very comfortable.Kitchen area very adequate.
Good outdoor BBQ area. Location great - near the Esplanade, shops and airport. Good price for the facilities as a lot of budget accommodation have shared bathrooms.

This is such a friendly hotel and the staff were so helpful it was a pleasure to stay there. Our room was pretty standard but good enough and very clean. Location was convenient to the "Esplanade" and local shopping and restaurants.
The manager, Rosemary, was very helpful. We arrived a number of hours before we were supposed to check in and our room was already ready for us.
The manager helped us book our tours and even drove us to the wharf on the day, so we wouldn't be late and this was greatly appreciated.

Really friendly reception staff, nice comfortable room with nice balcony, good bed and overall a good place to stay. Excellent location on the esplanade and ideal for a walk. Nearby enough to bars/restaurants but far enough away that you don't get the noise.

Did what it said on the tin. Reasonable price. Walking distance - 15 mins of main drag but quiet surroundings which I wanted. Good restaurant open for reasonably priced breakfast and dinner. Happy hour at the bar. Receptionists could not have been more helpful. If I return to Cairns I will stay again for sure.

We enjoyed the friendly front staff and their advice. Our room was exactly what we required - ie., balcony, opening slider, fan option or aircon, a kitchen & had the added luxury of a queen bed each! -

Lovely comfortable room, felt like a really good hotel in Bali.
The kitchen is great, we were lucky enough to have it all to ourselves. Basic breakfast but good to have :)
Oh and we got an early check in too which we appreciated.

I was there with my wife and two kids (2&5) in May and had a great experience. The apartments are big, clean, comfortable and with everything you may need (washing machine, dryer, kitchen, big fridge, nice TV, wireless internet).

The thing that impressed me the most at this resort apartment is the owner's (Graham) services. From the moment we checked in right to the morning we checked out, we were looked after very well. Graham helped us with directions to places we want to go, he booked tours for us and even gave us his discounts. Our 2 bedroom apartment was a good comfortable size for a family of 4. Everything was as expected at 3 star standard.
