The full kitchen and laundry facilities, close to everything. Modern
facilities, nice pool (a lot of hotels in Cairns are very dated from the
1980s tourist boom I think). There was a mix-up when we were checking in
and we were quoted a much higher price than we booked, but for a
Harbourview room. We ended up getting a Harbour view room anyway but

Great location. Right beside the marina and very close to the city. Lots
of choices of nice restaurants just downstairs. Staff are extremely
helpful. Helped us with all the bookings of shuttle bus and site visits.
The studio hotel apartment was great value of money. The ocean view from
the balcony was fantastic. Can't wait to come back to Harbour Lights
for our next Cairns holiday!

As a Local of 33 years we like to treat one self to a bit of luxury. We have stayed here before an loved it. Rooms are very clean n have had a bit of a refurb an look great. Had in room dinning an the food was great, as was the service. Had a in room spa which was relaxing. Was on the second floor did not find road noise to bad. Very fast checkin

Love the bed, not the usual two pushed together but a genuine kind size bed! Large balcony was nice, little touches of luxury such as spa bath, large shower, bath robes, mini bar etc. Staff booked our boat trip to the reef for us and they have lots of area knowledge and recommendations, very helpful and friendly!

We stayed at the Jack & Newell for three nights in a 3 bed apartment in Nov 2013. The apartment was huge, modern décor, well cleaned and maintained. As well as the pool facilities. The property is located just a few streets over from the CBD, the pier, the marina and the casino! David the manager was a great guy and went out of his way to provide advise on tours etc to make our trip successful. Would certainly recommend this property to anyone considering staying in Cairns.

Everything. We were upgarded without it being requested so that we had a quiet room. Reception staff were excellent as was the assitance given from the tours desk and the restaurant.
Clean modern rooms; very well appointed.
Excellent restaurant and pool.

Location! A diver's Dream as the apartments are located in the same building as the Reef Tours Terminal. It is also very conveniently located to the rest of Cairns and on the Boardwalk with a great variety of restaurants and bars. -

We were originally meant to only stayed 4 nights but we stayed the entire 8 of our holidays!
It is definitely worth the price you pay.
Our room was serviced everyday by the friendly house keepers and were always greeted by the friendly, helpful service desk people.

Absolutely loved our stay at the Rydges Esplanade Resort. The staff were helpful and friendly and nothing was too much trouble. We checked in prior to 2pm due to a flight reschedule and even though the hotel was close to full the staff did everything they could to get us into our room as quickly as possible which was greatly appreciated. The rooms were very clean and spacious. We had a mountain view room which had stunning views of Cairns at night. If your out during the day, I'd recommend this

We stayed twice at the Pullman International Cairns on this trip. Two nights on the way to Port Douglas and one night on the way back. On the way to Port Douglas we arrived at ten thirty and our room was ready. It was clean, tasteful and had a great view all over Cairns. We just had the best time at your hotel.... We had dinner at Cocos then a complimentary breakfast the next morning which was part of our accommodation package ... Your staff are the most friendly, easy going people we have come across in any hotel we have ever stayed at, even the guys who park our car to the the valet who brings our bags to our room.... 6 star in our books.... It was comfortable and clean. Staff was friendly. Great price for budget conscious families. Despite the wet bed and carpet from upstairs I was offered another room which I declined because it wasn't bothering us. I would stay there again in the future. -

I was surprised at how modern the inside decor and furniture was. Very clean with everything a person would want for a long family stay. We unfortunately only stayed one night but we were very happy to have the convenience of been able to wash our clothes overnight! -

The staff at this hotel are probably the most friendly, helpful, professional staff I've ever come across - and I worked in hospo for 8 years! The staff were always very helpful and friendly and went out of their way to look after us. We were given a free upgrade to a double bathroom lux villa to accomodate our family of 6.
