We went to the Majestic in October, after attending a wedding in the area. Even though we arrived very late, the receptionist was very friendly.
The room was spotless (I used to be a chambermaid, and I checked) The bed was very comfortable. A mini-fridge and coffemaker were great additions. The doughnuts on the continental breakfast were yummy.

I like very much everything
During off season, because I am not sure the reasonnable price can continue , but this place had everything : good location, tennnis, boccee game, barbecue, swimming, fridge in room, free breakfast,
and it is like a 5 stars resort at a very friendly price not to say extremely reasonnable price :).
The staff/cleaning crew were excellent. I never had a problem getting a towel for the pool or having my questions asked about various entertainment/dining in the area from the front desk staff. The cleaning crew were also very accommodating and friendly. We would definitely come here again.
Budget rooms but good sized. Beds were comfortable. Nice large grounds, great pool area. Very handy for the trolley service, starting point for both the Ogunquit one and the Wells one. Plenty of food available in the breakfast room.
Staff was Very Friendly & Accommedating. Location was perfect & it was budget friendly. I would reccomend it to other travelers if they are looking for a family friendly, budget friendly place to stay.
I liked the privacy of the room and the location. Really enjoyed the fact if I wanted to grill or have a fire in the pit I could have. Nice accomidations, the bed was very comfortable and the room very clean.
The rooms are clean with basic amenities. Continental Breakfast is included. There is an outdoor pool and facilities for barbequing. Trolley buses to local towns and attractions stop at the motel.
Excellent breakfast Gentleman that got it ready was friendly and worked
very hard keeping up with cleaning up. Nice having pool. Chair cushions
could be replaced and more umbrellas.
I like the location .. like the staff.. like the way they go about breakfast where you do your own .. great choice to . close to everything . walking distance to restaurants .
The size and cleanliness of the room was very nice, the bed was comfortable. The continental breakfast was very fresh and ample.. the donuts and bagels were exceptional.
Accessibility, price, central location to great sandy beaches and shopping with Kittery but a 1/2 hour down he road and Freeport a hour up the road.
Very clean and somewhat updated room, very warm and inviting (was very pleasantly surprised), use of outdoor grill, and free bagels for breakfast.

The price was the best in the area. The lady in the office was very nice and certainly did all she could to make us feel welcome.
The motel was conveniently located. The bedrooms were clean and there were two separate bedrooms along with a kitchenette.
The amount of property there was for children to run around. They had a basketball hoop, tennis court and volleyball ner.
Lots of amenities on hand even barbecues, pool, tennis and very handy for restaurants. The breakfast was excellent!.
The cost was definitely resonable. Right on the main road and the trolley was a great feature.

Nothing really. This is a place more for families with their children but we as a childless couple enjoyed the place.
Very poor lighting in the room. Needs an overhead light.
I had a package sent there and it never arrived. Apparently the postal address does not exist and usps does not deliver! since I was from Canada this is causing me a problem. Not the staff's fault though.
only one thing more TV channels needed not enough varity on the TV.
Facilities, while not luxurious, are adequate and comfortable.
Drapes were hanging at ends. Didn't match the spread or went with
it. Little Old English polish (brown type) would cover up the worn spots
on the furniture. Toilet too low and it rocked. Shower sprayed over
curtain so a mist got on your clothes. If there were a hook on the door
it wouldn't be a problem. Should have a night light so you
didn't have to leave a light on for night time visits.

There was NO hot water in our room.. only luke warm.. not doable for a shower. The pillows were all very firm and uncomfortable, it would be nice to have a couple choices of pillows.
Coffee, the world's worst.The facility is showing signs of maintenance neglect but I understand there are new owners.

I can't think of anything.
The decor needed to be updated. The sofa was dirty and uncomfortable. The electric stove needed to be cleaned. The bathroom tub had mold. The pool filter was not up to par and there were a lot of bugs and debris floating around. Breakfast was not served until 7:30am.

The pool was not very clean. Filled with young kids shooting water cannons getting everyone wet, including some elderly guests. There was no parental supervision (even though it is posted as a rule) but no staff came out to help. The breakfast leaves a lot to the imagination (store bought donuts, boxed store brand cereals, and one toaster for bagels). When the coffee is gone, it's gone...even if you get there before 10am. Room was clean but in desperate need of updating.

No soap in room, very noisy upstairs (dogs, and children?) jumping on floor until 2 am, and very early am). Put those people on ground floor!.
Smell of cigarette smoke and had a musty smell. Wifi didn't work.
Breakfast was a little late for my group,but we were there to deep sea fish and had an earlier schedule than most.

The rooms are sorely dated. Clean, but old. A little 'sprucing up', new furniture, some paint, appliances, decor, less noisy a/c, UN- heated pool in the summer!!!, new patio furniture that isn't taped together, chairs that aren't falling apart...this place would be THE perfect spot!.
