Very accommodating, put us in a room with better WiFi signal as we asked about the code. Phone didn't work for outside calls and they came and fixed it straight away! Brilliant customer service. One of of. The best motels we have stayed in and we have stayed in a lot in California. The Sunset Motel has very good amenities for the price of the room. There is a small microwave, small refrigerator, flat screen TV, firm mattress, table and two chairs, clean room and bathroom, and the furniture is well kept. The proprietor is friendly and helpful.
kaikki arvostelut » The managers seemed like a nice elderly couple. The location was great if you want to be a short cab ride from the beach AND the Santa Barbara bowl. It was quiet. And the no smoking room was just that, no smoke was detected. It was simple but did have coffee, fridge, good size bathroom. I dont have much to say. Room with two queen size beds for that value was perfect. TV, wifi, big bathroom, 7/11 across the street. I liked that the hotel was exactly how it was in the pictures. Location was amazing since i do like to shop. Room was comfortable, good sized bathroom (shower had a door, not curtain) Great value for money. Nice clean and comfortable motel at a reasonalbe price. Motel was on the main street, but a bit further out from the action, but it wasn't a problem, as we had a car. Everything was completely fine!. The bed....by far the most uncomfortable bed Ive ever laid in...felt like I was sitting/laying on a wooden board. Im jus grateful that we were so busy that we didnt spend much time in the bed!. Needed a new shower head. Wouldn't give me second night for same price. Check out should be at noon and not 11:00am. More expensive price for next day. Small, could stand some updating. nothing. It seemed old and run down. The shower was scary. The paint on the bathroom door was mismatched and uneven. Not very close to the action on State St. The rate was good but think we can get that rate or similar and have an even better location and nicer accommodations. Some spots were not that clean. well worn room, but clean lousy coffee in room. No breakfast. The price. Room was small, no breakfast, expensive for what we got. Small. A clean bed, I think, but hair in the bathroom and cobwebs in the corners of the room. Not worth the price. room appeared clean but had roaches hotel manager rude and combative no special services like room service, bike rental or anything special for $225 a night. The cost was high for the amenities. Small, very basic room. For the price I would expect much more....... This motel was one of the worse values ever! It was cheap, very small and cramped. the furniture was broken, the beds uncomfortable. We had to remind them to clean our room. This room was amazingly expensive for the worse value ever. Dingy. Not dirty, but worn. Broken bath screen would be easy to enter through. totally overpriced, noisy room on car park, grotty bathroom. room very uncomfortable, would not recommend to anyone. $245 didn't give us very much -- bathroom sink didn't drain; bathroom door didn't close; A/C adjacent within inches of bed; door to room didn't lock. I wouldn't rebook there. Generally everything was a little tired and in need of attention/renovation. Nothing was as clean as we would have liked. Needed paint, needs to be upgraded, for the money should be in better shape.Looked shabby. The staff was unfriendly, the rooms are old and smelled ugly. The room had a bad smell, tho door of the bathroom was broken, the price was really excessive for the low quality given.
