  The Modern is a fantastic place to stay. This was our second trip there and we loved every minute. Couldn't fault the customer service we - We stayed in an ocean view suite on the 21st floor. We actually had a view of the ocean and the mountains from our room which was really nice. The rooms were updated and very clean and the staff was very helpful. The location was convenient to everything!!! We were a block away from the beach, and the Beach walk shopping area was right downstairs from the hotel. There was plenty to do in the area and we did not need a car. I would definitely stay here again.

  We absolutely loved our stay at Polynesian Plaza! Rooms are nice& definately adequate despite negative reviews! Excellent value for money and in the perfect location for shopping in town. The room also has air conditioning to cool the room which was great, without this, we wouldn't have been able to st - My stay at the Polynesian Plaza was wonderful. I wasn't expecting a lot as I was looking for accommodation at a reasonable price. The location was perfect, the staff was excellent and the room was fine. Especially the rooms facing Kalakaua Ave with the balcony as we got a brilliant view of the Halloween festivities on our last night their. I certainly recommend the Polynesian Plaza to anyone seeking something along the lines of what I have highlighted in this review.

  Loved my stay at the Coconut Waikiki! This hotel is such a great deal for Waikiki and the location is perfect - right on the canal so a little quieter than being right on the main strip. Decor looks just like the hotel photos - fresh and modern. Very comfy beds, was sad to leave them. Go for a mountain view room for sure. S - I loved the cute decour, the room was well kept and clean. I know that people have made comments about the continental breakfast and so I was prepared for the worst but I honestly thought it was good. There may not be a lot of choice but it got me through the morning. Also considering that there was a kichenette in my room, I could always buy breakfast goods if I wanted more.
