  Hotel granted my request for a refrigerator. Room was clean and more spacious than I expected and the beds were comfortable. It was great being in walking distance to town with large choice of restaurants and shops. Also close to the entrance to Acadia Park. - Could book direct for a better rate.   The young man who helped us with our car and bags upon arrival was very helpful and friendly. I asked him if the room had a refrigerator and he retrived one from storage and placed it in our room right away. The location was fabulous especially for a short visit as we literally were able to walk to everything. Wonderful breeze from outside (I left the door open all night).The staff was wonderful, friendly, and helpful. A great place to stay and I highly recommend Fisherman's Wharf Inn.

Hotel has great room for continental breakfast, clean and staffed making sure everything is stocked and working. Maid staff and front desk very friendly. Would definitely go back. - I was there for the mdi marathon. They moved up the breakfast so that they marathoners could still eat it. I thought that took some foresight and was very considerate. The location was excellent. I also liked the sheet that was handed out that told you favorite places in town. It was honestly a very good experience!

  We liked that they designated a parking space just for us in front of my parents room because they were elderly and the rooms were clean and right across the road from the beach. The pool area was nice and clean as well. The pool was warm and the room was spacious for our big family. The motel is updated yet not commercialized like a larger chain. We loved our weekend.

  Room very comfortable and large enough for a week's stay. Excellent bathroom, loved the long counter space, and nice closet. Nice breakfast offering every morning, saved time and money, but got a bit tedious, with the same thing each morning, but about as big a variety as possible for the circumstances. Loved the free bus stopping at the motel to go to town, that was a great plus! A warning - The Bar Harbor Motel provided everything we needed for our stay in Acadia National Park. It was close to the village of Bar Harbor but out of the hectic and crowded scene there. We could get into the park without having to go through downtown. There was a light breakfast fine for our needs, good TV, a very nice restaurant and brew pub right next door, with prime steak specials each night as well as good local brews on tap and a full bar (the Jack Russell Steakhouse). There was plenty of everything and the breakfast staff were very nice and friendly. The front desk was very friendly and informative. I had a problem with my baggage getting delayed and the staff on each shift jumped right in to help us track it and kept us informed while we went out. Tina even volunteered to call the airline! We also liked the location near but outside congested Bar Harbor. Clean and comfortable.
