  Spacious, location, breakfast, nice indoor pool,free wi-fi, amenities was great - It is about a ten minute walk to the downtown/shopping district. There is a nice sidewalk the entire way and it is also about 5-10 minutes to the Mackinac Island ferries. The hotel has a decent beach and the rooms are half and view of the water vs. not.   I liked the private balcony and the view of the Mackinaw Bridge and Mackinaw Island. We were lucky there were fireworks the night we stayed. Liked the bathroom set-up with separate room with the shower & toilet in one and sinks in another. - Hotel was clean for most part and reasonably priced. Could use some updating.

  We appreciated the quiet atmosphere and the helpful service. We especially liked the full-service breakfast at the nearby Beach and Bay motel -- and the access to laundromat facilities at the Clarion motel. - The location is great. Far enough from downtown to be peaceful. Lake view room was great.

  The staff on the day we checked in were so helpful. When we checked out, I really liked the two ladies at the desk, they were so nice and made me feel that I was a special guest to them. - Helpful staff. Good location With free.shuttle to ferry. A/C not working good at first and ,immediately repaired.

  If the weather was decent you could see the bridge. They also had fire pits that you could use in the evening as well as a gas grill. The person in the breakfast room was very congenial and helpful with places to go. - The view was as advertised, beautiful!
