  Clarion has the best pillows ever and plenty of them. Each bed came with 4 pillows on them, plenty for people who like extra. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Absolutely no complaints regarding the cleanliness of the rooms. I felt very comfortable and clean. Overall, the Clarion is a great value for the money. - It was peaceful.   I liked the private balcony and the view of the Mackinaw Bridge and Mackinaw Island. We were lucky there were fireworks the night we stayed. Liked the bathroom set-up with separate room with the shower & toilet in one and sinks in another. - Hotel was clean for most part and reasonably priced. Could use some updating.

  We appreciated the quiet atmosphere and the helpful service. We especially liked the full-service breakfast at the nearby Beach and Bay motel -- and the access to laundromat facilities at the Clarion motel. - The location is great. Far enough from downtown to be peaceful. Lake view room was great.

  We liked nearly everything about Mackinaw Beach and Bay Resort. A morning breakfast is provided, and it's good, but it needs a little variety. The staff is wonderful, the rooms are great and the view is amazing from your own private balcony. However the manager decided to put us into a room that was ready and turned out to be an upgrade. We were weary travelers and were very thankful.
