  The location was amazing - just a few minutes walk to downtown, Mackinac Island Ferries, and Colonial Michilimackinac. The room was clean, comfortable, and quiet. Very comfy bed!   Clarion has the best pillows ever and plenty of them. Each bed came with 4 pillows on them, plenty for people who like extra. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Absolutely no complaints regarding the cleanliness of the rooms. I felt very comfortable and clean. Overall, the Clarion is a great value for the money. - It was peaceful. There is a nice sidewalk the entire way and it is also about 5-10 minutes to the Mackinac Island ferries. The hotel has a decent beach and the rooms are half and view of the water vs. not.   We liked nearly everything about Mackinaw Beach and Bay Resort. A morning breakfast is provided, and it's good, but it needs a little variety. The staff is wonderful, the rooms are great and the view is amazing from your own private balcony. However the manager decided to put us into a room that was ready and turned out to be an upgrade. We were weary travelers and were very thankful.

When we checked out, I really liked the two ladies at the desk, they were so nice and made me feel that I was a special guest to them. - Helpful staff. Good location With free.shuttle to ferry.
