  The staff were very helpful and friendly especially the man in the little convenience shop - he was wonderful. The Hotel is not situated in the heart of Hollywood and is not the best area, but we found it safe and easy to catch public transport into Hollywood Boulevard and Santa Monica Beach. - central location

  I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at the intercontinental. The staff were amazing and made my stay as comfortable as possible.   My 14 year old daughter and I stayed at the Shore this past June for 7 nights. Each room has a balcony. We were moved to an ocean -front room since we were staying for a week which was very generous. The location is probably the best in Santa Monica. Rooms were modern and bathroom has clear glass wall to see into bedroom, which was a novelty for my 7yo daughter. Free internet/wifi was fantastic. Was given glass of champagne at check in which was a nice surprise. My daughter loved the heated pool.
