  Friendly and efficient staff, quick check-in (and a couple of hours earlier than scheduled time), nice breakfast, quiet and comfortable room, nice toiletery products in the bathroom, great proximity to Union Square and public transport, great value for money.   We were very pleased with our selection of hotel. When we arrived we had been upgraded from a Queen room to a Suite so were delighted. Having 2 bathrooms was a definite bonus. The suite was very clean. The staff throughout the hotel were excellent. Location was awesome. Right on Union Square and convenient to everything.   The staff was friendly and helpful. The room, while rather small, was clean and neat. The bathroom, while very small (I've had larger bathrooms on cruise ships), was also clean, neat and stocked with sufficient towels and basic amenities. Fortunately, the bed was very comfortable. Was very quiet, slept wonderfully. Decor quaint & beautiful. Bed comfy, water pressure great. Bkft included was good & filling. Cannot say enough great things about this adorable hotel.   We were very happy with the Vertigo. I appreciated the modern styling, the spectacular view from our room on the 8th floor, the perfect crisp linen, the helpful front desk staff, the proximity to lots of restaurants and especially the the shop next door with its early morning coffee/late night gelato. Easy access to Muni. Helpful receptionists. Fridge and coffee making machine. Great breakfast place directly across the street.
