  The beds very comfortable, breakfast very tasty and set us up for the day, quality food cooked well. We were a family with a difference i.e. an 87 year old mum with two off her six children aged 64 and 53 ! The price allowed us to visit our older brother who is very unwell.   Really enjoyed our stay there - staff were extremely helpful and well mannered. The service at the dinner table was very attentive without being intrusive. The pre booked evening meal in the harbour view restaurant was really good with plenty of choice.   I was really impressed with Hotel Gleneagles. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. I was upgraded to a very comfortable room with a balcony on arrival. I was travelling on my own and the hotel catered for all my needs. Evening meal was exceptional and breakfast was very good too.
