This 19th-century inn is located on the edge of Dartmoor National Park. With guest accommodation, the Harvest Home Guest House boasts a licensed restaurant which specialises in hearty, home-cooked food. There is a large garden, overlooking Kings Tor and Brentor. The spacious rooms at the Harvest Home Guest House are decorated in light colours and feature flat-screen satellite TVs and king-sized beds. Each room includes a leather sofa, a luxury bathroom and has either countryside views or access to a patio. Each morning a cooked breakfast is available at the Harvest Home Guest House and Restaurant. In the dining room traditional meals including meat pies and duck and venison dishes are served, all using meat from the local butchers. Guests can enjoy the beautiful walking routes, including the Tamar Trails, which surround the property. Fishing is available locally and the World Heritage Site of Morwellham Quay is just a 5-minute drive away.

Nestled on the edge of Dartmoor this is a real country pub with presently 2 very large en-suite rooms. Very clean, free wifi, power shower/bath in a very large bathroom. Bedroom has LCD TV with FreeSat, very comfortable large king size bed. My bedroom also had its own upstairs patio area which led from the bedroom. The owners are fantastic and so friendly and went out of their way to make me feel welcomed. Food is home made, and not a frozen chip in sight, home real chips if you chose t.
kaikki arvostelut » We had a really good sized room with with 4 opening windows thus plenty of light and ventilation a two seater leather settee and a double kingsize bed which was very comfortable. Good standard of carpet and room was clean throughout. This is pub type accommadation to a very high standard but it seems there are only 2 rooms. Food was also very good but menu was small. The bar closed at 10pm. Absolutely loved my bedroom. Beautiful views. Massive bed and the best night's sleep I had had for ages. Altough hotel was on a main road I was not bothered by traffic noise due to the double glazed windows. Well looked after and the opportunity to have dinner at the hotel was great . We enjoyed the excellent service provided by the owners , the room and bathroom was lovely, lots of room very warm and decorated to a high standard.We also enjoyed the evening meals we had there too. Plus it it is a very good location. Thoroughly enjoyable stay. The friendly couple who run the pub/hotel. The size and quality of the room - excellent. The evening meal and breakfast were first class. I cannot fault this hotel, I have stayed before and will stay again. Location on a main road detracts from the overall experience, but not too much. the fact that we could not stay longer. No bath! Just me. Breakfast tomatoes needed more cooking. A jug of juice rather than a glass;. No biscuits with the coffee/tea facility. Double glazed window seals very dirty..need a good clean. Bar/restaurant closing at 10 pm.
