Without doubt we really enjoyed our stay at the Woodman Inn. - Delightful surroundings, a charming building that has been sympathetically and recently restored to a very high standard. And if you like a good ale there are plenty to choose from. Very highly recommended.

It was like stepping back in time with the atmosphere in the Inn,very homely and just right for the area. Food was very good. Although the hotel only offers a continental breakfast there is a Greggs, Costa, WH Smiths and some other eateries on site so plenty of choice. Food and drinks can be bought from the convenient m&s, costa coffee and cafe just in front of the hotel. We saw Viv from Emmerdale at the hotel - if its good enough for her its good!!
