I liked that it was pet friendly as we had a dog with us. The rooms were large, clean and modern and we had no problems with noise from the service station close by as I thought we might. - the fact that the cleaning staff handed in a gold ring we thought was lost and the staff called me on my mobile to let me know. Great service!

Everything was catered for and the staff / owners were extremeley nice and hospitable. There was a wedding night occuring during our arrival, but all was good and al was peacful at a time that didn't affect our stay. we would stay again if we were in the area. Not the best for the price we paid, but certainly good value.

Note: It is a little far to walk to the NEC but there are plenty of taxi's and the parking at the NEC, although £8 is very well organised. - The pleasant atmosphere and the very obliging, helpful and welcomingstaff on entering the hotel. Although we didn't have the time to haveour evening meal there (due to our late arrival, caused by delayedtrains etc), we made sure we had the full buffet breakfast , which Imust say was absolutely fabulous!! I've stayed in Etap / Ibis hotels before, and this one is by far the best yet. Their reception staff are friendly, professional and efficient. The hotel is immaculate - my room was faultless, comfortable, and had the cleanest ensuite facilities I have ever experienced. Bed comfort was very good, and external noise levels non-existent.

Great eating facilities on the door step, and cheap park -
The room was clean and tidy with everything we needed. Staff were very friendly and helpful with directions and information about restaurants. Location was excellent for the nec and the airport is only about 100m away. Also ideal for shopping in Birmingham which is only 10mins away by train. Although there's no bar there is a bar next door in the ibis hotel. And to top it off the price was excellent
