  The staff were brilliant and really put themselves out for us. They upgraded us to a massive double suite with champagne and chocolates. It was our 25th Anniversary and they put themselves out..even putting rose petals on the bed at night while we were out. They could not have done a better job...thank you Ritz. Excellent staff with personable, friendly, helpful and courteous manner. Nothing snooty or subservient or obsequious either. Breakfast was fantastic. Smooth, easy process for us. We were on our honeymoon and "splashing out" as a one off but the one off will be our first choice anytime we are in London.

  My husband and I stayed at the South Place Hotel for a week's vacation. The hotel is in the heart of the business district, so it is a quieter neighborhood on the weekends, but bustling during the week. There are a number of nearby pubs, and a Marks & Spencer across the street if you require groceries.   I really liked everything. The staff from the first contact with the doorman to the receptionist and the waiters not forgetting room service were all excellent. Dorset Square Hotel is much more than just a fabulous hotel. Marylebone station is very close (2min walk) so location is great if you come from LHR/Paddington.

  We loved the location, the decor, the amenities, the charm, the staff (especially Martin), and the toiletries. We especially appreciated that they had shower facilities for us to use since we arrived several hours before our room would be ready. Fabulous restaurant next door that allows for charging meals to your room. - I arrived early to book in 13-30hrs instead of 1500hrs as they stated on the confirmation , my room wasent ready but instead of making me wait they upgraded me to a room that had been serviced at no extra charge , the room was fantastic and kitted out with every imaginable extra you could ever wish for , I was totally delighted.
