  Everything about the Charlotte Street Hotel impressed us - the hotel itself is beautiful and well maintained, the staff were excellent, and the room was perfect. We were lucky enough to get an upgrade to a deluxe room, which made the trip even more special. The room we had was fabulous - they had taken note of what my husband had said on the booking form - that it was a birthday treat - and as a result we were upgraded, got a birthday card from the management and complimentary birthday patiserries. The food at Roux (2 x Michellin Stars) is superb. Afternoon tea in the Palm Court is an absolute must. Gym, sauna, steam room, pool and spa pool are all very well equipped.
