After a late return @ the Bell Inn in the night , we had a knock @1000 am to see if We still want breakfast ( served till 1000 am)
It was much appreciated as otherwise We would have missed it. Staff were all very friendly & welcoming. The Room was cosy & clean & plenty of electric heater to keep the room warm as it is an old style "cottagy" room. Loads of character.

The location is excellent. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in the Slaughters Country Inn and the tranquil surroundings of what is a stunning village. All the staff were so helpful and friendly. The food was excellent, and just the right amount, so that you did not feel bloated. Well stocked bar, with some nice local beers. Breakfast was fine , just pick what you want. Rooms were clean and tidy, with everything you need. plenty of teas and coffee's in the room every day, and biscuits.
