Craigroyston House is set in the traditional small Scottish town of Pitlochry, in mature garden grounds. It has Laura Ashley decorated bedroom, Scottish breakfasts, and free parking for all guests. Each room at Craigroyston has an en suite shower room, tea/coffee making facilities and a flat-screen TV. They all have free Wi-Fi and some have views to the hills of the Tummel Valley. In the morning, guests can choose to have a cooked traditional breakfast or a lighter continental option. Special diets can be catered for on request and some restaurants can be found a 5-minute walk away. There are various shops and activities in the town of Pitlochry. Pitlochry Rail Station can be reached in 10 minutes on foot and Tay Forest Park is a 5-minute drive away.

Came for a weekend get away - completed the killikrankie walk - 12 miles - beautiful views all the way. Hotel so comfortable and homely and we loved the design of our room and all the house. It really is a gorgeous old house with a lot of attention to detail. Breakfast was perfect and the owners made us very welcome - we will be returning to do a few more of the walks - the perfect hotel and a perfect get away!.
kaikki arvostelut » The rooms were very comfortable and roomy. The breakfast service was very good and also very tasty. The location in the village was excellent with safe off street parking. We were on motorcycles and douglas the owner greeted us with pieces of wood to put under our sidestands.. a nice touch. Some nice recommendations on eating and touring as well. --this B&B was one of the very best we stayed in. The home was elegant but very cozy and comfortable. I loved the bedroom location as you could oversee the gardens and some of the town.Pitlochry was charming,countryside beautiful and interesting,eg fish ladder;distillary tour --the breakfast superb. We loved the large room it was a family, also the large bathroom and water pressure in shower was very good. Bed very comfortable. Lovely gardens and back gate leads down to main street. Lovely quite location"Also right behind information centre handy. the room was comfortable and clean and little comforts were provided that made us feel at home. The welcome was warm and genuine and the staff lovely. We also felt that it was good value for money and would happily return. Thank you all!. What a delightful guest house in a lovely location. Our room was comfortable & extremely well resourced. Breakfast was tasty and with lots of choice. Easy access into the centre of Pitlochry by walking through the pretty gardens. The location was fantastic for the beginning of the Caledonian Etap - Registration tent right outside garden gate - Owners so friendly and helpful - organised a continental breakfast for partner who was off on bile race early. Great location. Exceptionally clean- bathrooms were super. Lovely, quiet, very comfortable and nicely appointed rooms. Perfect for a weekend at the Enchanted Forest. Garden must be a lovely place to sit in the summer. I liked the close proximity to town, a short walk through lovely garden to main street of Pitlochry and easy access to places to eat and shop. Our room had a four poster bed and there was a lovely large sitting room. Very friendly owners. Beautiful house very tasteful decorated rooms in keeping with it's age. Lovely breakfast. Few minutes walk to main street of shops but situated up on a hill giving beautiful views. Very nicely decorated , comfortable room, clean with all necessary facilities, walking distance from village, whiskey distillery and short drive from Blair castle and country hikes Very good breakfast. Beautifully appointed, and very well maintained. Large airy rooms with great faciities. Very pleasant and helpful staff. Made to feel very welcome, not always the case when arriving on a motorcycle. The hosts were fantastic, the town was wonderful. Douglas spent a great deal of time with us and gave us great insight into the area. One of the finest places we have stayed in Scotland. 1. Excellent recommendation for a nearby restaurant for dinner. 2. Quick to volunteer a generous price reduction when a maintenance issue with one of the rooms could not be resolved. Wonderful old worldy, peaceful atmosphere with period furniture. Comfy lounge with roaring coal fire Spotlessly clean and hearty Scot's breakfast. Fully recommend as great value. Enjoyed our stay at Craigroyston House, great value for money,and we were central to all that Pitlochry had to offer, we were made very welcome by the owner,GREAT STUFF. Fantastic B &B. Location was ideal, especially for walking into town etc. Four poster bed and the room was ok. Pleasant staff. Had to leave!. Short window for breakfast service. Table allocation for breakfast, would prefer to pick my own seat based on availability. Only negative ,climb up two flights of stairs as our room was in attic. But worth it for bigger room and bathroom. leaving so soon!. Just be aware that you need to pay with cash before you leave. Not an issue, as long as you know!. Nothing really - bathroom was a little small and I had a bit of a fight with the shower but it was fine - tv didn't have all Freeview channels but we weren't there for the tv. The ensuite in our room was tiny. Nothing. Did not take credit cards. More flexibility over breakfast times. Nothing!. Slightly difficult to access the entrance initially but once negotiated OK. WE liked everything. Nothing. Too many tables in dining room. No fresh fruit. No choice of juice. Small glass of orange juice was put on your table. Plates very small so breakfast was rather squashed. Measly portion of scrambled egg. Considering the price, we were expecting a better choice of breakfast. Lastly, cards not accepted and everyone has to pay cash with no receipt given. small car park difficult to turn around when all spaces taken. small shower cubicle. The breakfast was lovely and cooked well - however one glass of orange juice was already poured for each person. My friend asked for more and this was provided without any questions - great service. Not a thing. Room was a little small. Breakfast was pretty disappointing, despite many comments to the contrary. The size of the bathroom, we are both average size and felt it was a little small. No laundry facilities indicated. They accepted credit cards for reservation but refused them when paying the final account. This could have been embarrassing and certainly would have been inconvenient for those travellers with insufficient cash. Only take cash!. Door at top of stairs (hard to open if your hands are full of luggage, noisy when it closed). No dislikes. nothing to dislike. We had to leave!. Small bathroom. Nothing really. Room on the cold side and breakfast small / average. The shower did not work, and we were unable to shower in the morning. Also very early check out. very small dining room. Wash handbasin did not drain well, owner aware but unwilling to get plumber due to cost involved. Inability to use credit or debit cards unfortunate and was not mentioned on my booking details.
