I loved the fact that even though there were many other guests you still felt like you were " King of the Castle".
Heaps of room.
Beautiful scenery.
Snooker room is a highlight.
Watching your son try and chase down a rabbit on the front lawns was amusing ....and never going to happen!
Loved the library and the easy access to all the rooms within

Loved the area it was lovely and quiet,the weather was fabulous so we walked in the grounds, and sat in the beautiful garden, the room was clean and comfortable and the breakfast was delicious,

It was lovely and the room was spacious and comfortable. ArdenGuestHouse is in the perfect location. Across the street from the oldest golf course in the world. If you like horses, there is also a race track. It's in Musselburgh, surrounded by beautiful countryside. Yet there are local buses that can take you to Edinburgh for the city or fun trips

Very friendly people, and a lovely large room with an extremely comfortable bed. If you're there for the golf or racing, it's just across the street, and the town centre is a quick walk away. A bus stop just in front takes you to Edinburgh city centre in about 40 minutes once an hour.

The b & b owner, Jamie, was exceptionally helpful: we inadvertently
left a suitcase on the train when we got off at Musselburgh, and he
spent a long time on the phone, trying to find out how to locate it, or
how we should enquire about it. After our hotel in Edinburgh on the
previous two nights, Honest Toun was blissfully quiet. The bus fare to
Edinburgh is only £1.50, and buses are frequent, even on a Sunday
morning. Highly recommended.

The place is beautiful. It is a bit cut off (in the woods) which makes it excellent for relaxation but not very accessible by public transportation (you need to walk 30mins to get to the bus stop). The staff at this place are very professional, friendly and helpful. It is also very clean. Depending on the clients requirements, I do not hesitate to recommend this accommodation. Furthermore, it is reasonably priced compared to market prices.
