  Maggie was very friendly and welcoming, and the place was spotlessly clean, with a nice atmosphere. There are great facilities if you are planning on staying for a few days - a lovely kitchen, washing machine, even a patio and barbecue. The kitchen had all the utilities you would require if maybe staying for a few days. Garden was lovely and table and chairs are covered by a canopy (perfect for smokers).   We chose this hotel because it was affordable and the reviews said it was also very tidy, clean and nice. We were not disappointed: the hotel was extremely clean, the staff were very helpful and nice, and our room was comfortable and interestingly decorated. What can I say, this hotel was absolutely wonderful :) - I thought this place was just great. It could not possibly have been cleaner and it was both comfortable and warm. It was great value for money and although I may be doing myself out of an inexpensive bolt hole by urging others to go there: they deserve the business. The street is quiet. The walk there from the tube is under 15 minutes. The WI FI worked well.

  I had a really lovely stay at Lawrence Road. Maggie was really helpful and friendly and the accommodation was great. My bed was comfy, my room clean and cosy and the kitchen fully equipped.   I love this hotel because the receptionist was very friendly; we asked for a kettle (since they do not provide one in the room) and also a bowl for us to make instant noodle, and she did not hesitate to provide those for us. She also provide us room at the lower level since we brought huge luggage. It's not even too far from the centre of London (even if the hotel is in Zone 3) and you have a tube station that you can easily reach by foot. I don't think you can find something much better at this price.
