This hotel was clean, modern and excellent value for money. The staffwere very friendly and nothing was too much trouble for them. We were travelling to France early the next morning before the start of breakfast so we were given a takeaway breakfast for the journey! Holiday Inn will definitely be our preferred hotel choice for our next visit!

Pigeonwood House is a B & B. It was like going to stay with a friend . Mary Martin was welcoming & friendly but not overbearing so we felt completely relaxed. Views marvelous. Access via small winding country lanes - easy to get lost if you didn't have a good map.
Didn't go into Folkestone - but it is useful for onward travel

We received a very warm welcome and found Fern Lodge to have all the facilities we required. The location is ideal as a base for exploring the local area and the helpful advice from the proprietor led to some of the best fish and chips we have ever tasted. Wendy's breakfast 'sets you up for the day'. The evening meals are a good price and plentiful. The food is freshly cooked, no microwaving or instant meals here I'm happy to say.
