We received a very warm welcome and found Fern Lodge to have all the facilities we required. The location is ideal as a base for exploring the local area and the helpful advice from the proprietor led to some of the best fish and chips we have ever tasted. We shall certainly try and stay at Fern Lodge again when visiting the Kent coast.
The breakfast was lovely, very good quality food. Service throughout our
stay was accommodating, I would particularly highlight how welcome and
comfortable we felt as a lesbian couple. I love the building itself, you
really feel like you are staying in a cosy country cottage. The living

Peter was a very amenable & friendly host and we were able to have early breakfast so we could get an early eurotrain. We chose it due to its close location to Eurotunnel. Peter also recommended a great local pub within walking distance for evening meal. We had a family room which was extremely spacious.
My wife and I only stayed (with two friends) for less than 24 hours on
route to the Eurotunnel. Very pleasant all round and convenient for the
tunnel. Peter was extremely helpful and directed us to The Butt of
Sherry for our evening meal. The breakfast was particulary good.
A really friendly reception on arrrival, with good off-road parking.
The room and bathroom were spotless. There was a good flat screen TV, with plenty of tea and coffee.
Breakfast was outstanding and I would use this B&B again and again if I were in the area.

Everything is very nice, rooms and breakfast are very tipical

location is ideal for visiting Kent and eat a very good fish and chips

Very clean accommodation and friendly proprietor. Excellent vegetarian breakfast in the morning. 5 minute walk to the beach and 20 minutes into Hythe.
Very friendly staff who telephoned to confirm time of arrival which while a bit late was no trouble. Equally a very early breakfast was no trouble.

If I had to give any negative feedback, I would say the room was a bit
cramped. Slightly more floor space would have been great, but the room
next door was more spacious so I don't think it is a problem
