This facility was outstanding in all facets of service, comfort, location, and friendliness. Margaret and Sandy were impeccable hosts in the most charming and delightful b & b facility I've ever enjoyed. An exceptionally clean, modern, spacious, and comfortable home is the only way to describe this b & B. My wife and I overnighted at Dunhallin for 7 days and loved every minute of our stay. Its location to the primary road systems was ideal as we were out the door in late morning and tra.
kaikki arvostelut » I very much enjoyed the company of my hosts, Margaret and Sandy, whom operate this amazing B&B! I felt like part of their family for the time I was there. They had no objections to questions regarding things to do around the area and were very accomidating when it came to packing a snack for lunch. Also, the breakfasts every morning were delicious. The house was quite and since I was without a car the 30 min walk to downtown seemed perfect for a bit of fresh air. Couple who run the guest house were very accomodating and friendly. They instantly made us feel welcome. The breakfast was a scottish hearty meal and delicious with many options on offer. The location of the guest house allows for easy access to get into city centre. Rooms were very clean and comfortable. Overall very happy with service and quality of accomadation, we had a lovely stay :). The hosts were absolutely perfect. Friendly, polite and welcoming! We were late arriving and was not made to feel like we were a bother. We were pleased the room was stacked with the usual plus some biscuits and sweets! The room itself was very comfortable and well decorated. Breakfast was lovely, especially the porridge! The range was excellent, caters for varied palates. Sandy and Maggie were great hosts. Our room was wonderful and really well provided and the bed really comfortable. The breakfasts are amongst the best we've ever had. Although Dunhallin House is quite a walk from the City Centre the peace and tranquility more than compensates and it's a great way to walk off a big dinner and a couple of drams after a night in Inverness. Margaret was very welcoming and her and husband could not do enough to help make stay enjoyable. The room was lovely , in fact much more than we imagined it would be and price was very competitive. The breakfast was fantastic. All in all a great guest house , we will return in near future hopefully . Margaret and Sandy were wonderful hosts and went out of their way to make sure we were comfortable. The rooms were well appointed and spotlessly clean. Breakfasts were excellent. The B&B is close to the bus route and to a restaurant for dinner. We really enjoyed our stay here. We had booked the wrong night, but the owner was very welcoming, nothing was too much trouble, and she was able to provide us with two lovely rooms for the night. Rooms were very comfortable, clean and decoration of a very high standard. Breakfast was lovely!. Very warm welcome from the hostess, double bedroom we had was very spacious and had everything you could need for a weekend stay. The breakfast menu was simple but excellent, we were even offered sandwiches for our day of snowboarding. My borfriend ryan and i went for our first year anniversary.we stayed in room 2 which was spacious and very lovely.margaret and sandy could not have been any nicer or more welcoming.we are already planning our next stay at dunhallin!. made to feel at home as soon as we arrived. It is further out of town than I had realised, which is not a criticism, obviously, but meant I was a bit rushed. N/A. The shower door was very stiff, there could have been more variety of Tea bags in the bedroom.The shower was in a dangerous place as it could be showered with water..The toilet also didnt flush properly. Couldn't fault it at all, perfect for what we wanted our hosts went above and beyond the usual B&B. not a down side per se, but you need a car as it's kind of far from the center (2 miles). The springs of the mattress bothered. Stairs to rooms were quite steep. Parking a little tight. Bedroom floor quite creaky making me concious of disturbing other guests below. Nothing. The shower in our room wasn't particularly efficient, but this was, in the grand scheme of things, a minor issue. All Good. Nothing. a bit noisy as other guests moved about the b+b, creaky floorboards in room nothing major. Had to drive down for a meal. A bit far to walk to downtown. Nothing. The only problem was the sunlight through the curtains in the morning, which might bother some people. Everything was great!. Liked every thing.
