Breakfast is grreat! - Quite simply the best smoked haddock I've Ever had. Friendly helpful staff, clean comfortable rooms with great flat screen tvs with built in dvd. Plenty of hot water for a nice long bath or hot shower, Free wifi with excellent signal throughout the hotel, free onsite parking, close enough to the town centre for shopping but far enough for peace and some beautiful riverside walks..and all at an excellent rate! I wasn't sure whether or not to review this place because I don.
kaikki arvostelut » The rooms were comfortable, the shower was wonderful....I love power showers or similar...no sudden freeze/scald! Although there was a problem due to an emergency with the chef;s family causing the kitchen to close before our arrival (we were delayed due to a diversion en route) the staff kept us informed and were only to happy to arrange for us to "order in" and supplied all the necessary cutlery, crockery etc. so that we had a hot meal. Also, and very important, our spaniel was also made very. The staff was absolutely brilliant, very friendly and helpful. I have stayed with my mother and brother to visit Inverness and Loch Ness and the lady and staff at reception were always ready to help us. Excellent food at the Hotel, breakfast was included and was amazing and not to mention the lunch at the hotel, delicious! Good value for money. The room was great and warm specially for autumn cold days. I had a great stay and can definitely recommend this hotel to other people, no doubt. We travelled from Pitlochry to this scenic town called Inverness. Stayed at the Maple court Hotel which is by the river ness. It has huge grounds with outdoor seating as well.(Only in summer though). Although the hotel is really old and could use some refurbishments, our stay was delightful as we rather prefer old places with a hostory. The room allocated to us was clean and good sized. The breakfast was hearty and very good. Great service and excellent location. Excellent location by the river side. Beautiful experience to walk around and across the bridge. Very good, clean rooms. Friendly staff. Walkable distance to city center. Plenty of place to park the car. Convenient access to highways to visit in around Inverness. Good breakfast. In fact, the hotel made arrangement to give us packed breakfast since we were catching a train on the last day of our day. Overall, a wonderful experience. The staff were very friendly from the minute we arrived till the minute we left. Food was very good at breakfast, a good choice for me and my 3 year old. Room was big with everything you needed in it. Bathroom lovely and clean. Location of hotel is brilliant only a couple of minutes walk to centre but still in a very quiet area. I will be staying here again as my daughter and I loved it. River view at dinner was perfect!. Maple Court is a very friendly and comfortable place to stay. The staff were wonderful and very helpful. The dining rooms are a lovely place in which to dine, with open fire place and great food. Big bay windows give great views of the old garden. Maple Court is on the river Ness and there is a picturesque walk close by along it. The hotel is situated in a quiet area of Inverness and is easily accessible. The hotel was lovely and in a beautiful location on the river. It was very quiet and relaxing on a night so felt very safe walking back to the hotel on a night. The town centre was close and easy to walk to with lovely bars and restaurants. There was also things to do outside of the location so we didn't have to just stay in the town. Would defiantly stay there again. I loved the location and the staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was spotless and very cosy. The breakfast was excellent - there was a lovely varied buffet and a super cooked menu. Although I wasn't able to have dinner, I heard from other guests that the bar and dinner menu was superb. I will certainly stay there again next time I'm in Inverness. The size of the room was excl. The breakfast was first class, the choice of cereal, juices and fresh pastries were amazing and the cooked breakfast was perfect. Waiter advised the plates were very hot and they were! It was so nice to eat breakfast that stayed hot until the last mouthful even the scrambled egg, compliments to the chef :). The hotel was every thing we required on this trip our room was large and airy with a bath and shower.We had very little noise during the night.The breakfast was plentfull and good quality. The evening meal was the same.The staff were helpful and friendly, We will stay here again if possible enjoyed all it had to offer. The location was excellent, right on the River Ness and only a 10 minute walk to town. The staff are friendly & very hospitable, really made you feel welcome. Food was excellent with a wide selection to choose from. Unfortunately we had to leave early as our baby wasn't very well, wish we could have stayed longer. Lovely warm feeling from front door and throughout. Lovely big room , not the usual shape that all hotel rooms usually are, more like at home and very comfortable. Thick walls and heavy solid doors which kept out sounds from other guests. Great location for anywhere in Inverness. Next door to the Eden Centre. The breakfast was delicious and there was a wide choice of options. The staff were apologetic as the chef had to leave early and some cleaning staff were away. I suspect this was reflected in the price. The location is perfect - not too close to the town centre to be noisy, but certainly close enough. Great value ,brilliant last minute booking availability. Excellent service from staff efficient paperwork no hassle . Lovely meal after long journey with a few drinks. Breakfast great choice. Would definitely reccommend to friends and family. Will be keeping details close by for the future. The hotel is coisy, we liked the staff, very friendly. We can see that they want to rebuilt en referbusing the hotel. THat is good. The food in the evening is very good and the breakfast is verry good! We hope we can come back. It is also a short walk to the city and that is very nice. The staff were very friendly had a meal the night we arrived we phone ahead to tell them we would arrive between 8.45-9 pm and they kept restaurant open .we all enjoyed a lovely meal. Breakfast in the mornings was really good with a great choice . Would stay again gardens are lovely. Great location. River Ness is right in front of the hotel. There were many choices and a wonderful waitress. She was very accommodating of our 15 month old!. Nothing springs to mkind, apart from the lack of dining room on arrival, but that was out of the staff's control and they coped as best they could. Nothing to mention here. Only Con would be the heating system. but I guess that was just our room. Nothing really. Only little thing was heating went out at night and room got a little cold. Everything else was brilliant!. Nothing. There was a little problem with the shower but the staff dealt with it right away. En-suite rather compact for such a huge room, but served it's purpose all the same. Nothing. The uncomfortable bed, the unheated en-suite and the dusty/hairy edges to the carpet and bathroom floors. No milk for the tea and coffee on the tray. Nothing! Go to the hotel and see it your self. It is very good!. Nothing really it could do with an update. Adjusting water temparature in the shower is tricky. Never get it right. Water pressure is so weak. nothing really. Nothing. Some of decor was a bit dated, and thought price was higher than I would have liked, for accommodation on offer!. Nothing. 1.The serious doubt caused by the website in stating that car parking was "possible" when in fact it is extremely good.(nearly did not go) 2. And of course the hotel is much in need of redecoration. Bathroom very cold and no way to heat it other than leaving door open. r.Oom could have been hoovered,there was some mess on the floor. the decor: rather dated and depressing. Bedroom a bit dated Sink cracked in bathroom. Rooms a little small. Did not stay long enough to find out if their was. Coming from the U.S.A. We have never had to "turn on" the water heater for the shower before. We like the fact that it is an Eco-friendly device, but with the switch being on the outside if the bathroom maybe a sign on the device directing the guests to the big red switch to turn it on would be helpful. Nothing. Nothing. Decor was dated in the rooms. nothing. Only fault was no heating in the en-suite shower room it was very chilly and we dreaded going in there. We have stayed in this lovely hotel for two nights but the room has not been cleaned throughout our stay. New management trying very hard to upgrade however, need to look at standards in rooms and bring them up to standards of food, but at a good price. Nothing not to like . The beds were not the softest, and everything is slightly dated. Nothing. Beds not too comfy, shower pressure very low, walls very thin so can hear people in rooms either side and upstairs, music at breakfast was a bit depressing.
