The meal in the evening was excellent, the staff were helpful and nothing was too much trouble and friendly. Our room was opposite the kitchen and were worried that the noise from the kitchen in the morning would wake us, however it did not and i was very impressed. The seating outside is nice and comfortable seating. The interior decorating is modern and very nicely done. Warm room on a very cold evening,lovely room had everything you need,iron and ironing board ,free wi fi,sky tv,tea/ coffee etc.plus a small balcony with table and chairs.even a sea view.excellent restaurant.will definitely stay again.
kaikki arvostelut » The decor was very nice. The artwork from California was really impressive. The breakfast was excellent. Being at the back was good as straight into our accommodation. The room was very comfortable. Underfloor heating was good. Wonderful place. We have stayed here twice now and each time been impressed by the friendliness and efficiency of the staff, the comfortable rooms and the excellent food. A real gem of a place. Everything!Hotel lovely,friendly helpful staff.Clean throughout!Brilliant location.Food excellent!Absolutely nothing to complain about-have recommended the Dovedale to all family and friends. The Dovedale Hotel is ideally situated turn one way to the Beach and go the other and your in town plenty of Restaurants and Bars.We stayed for 2 nights and will return. Friendly staff. Near to train station. Food in restaurant very good.. Breakfast very good. Near to beach. Quiet. Hair drier and iron provided. Comfy beds. The food was excellent, The service and friendliness of staff couldn't be faulted. The lounge, bar area very comfortable. The outside area was great. The hotel was lovely and clean and the staff always with a friendly smile and hello I would an already have recommended the hotel to other people. Excellent hotel the staff were very helpful. The food was perfect rooms were spotless great location. Would recommend this hotel will stay again. I have been here several times, it is probably the best hotel in cleethorpes, quiet and very modern, food is excellent, will be returning soon. Lovely hotel! We didn't eat in the restaurant because we were meeting friends, but the menu looked good a well-priced, and breakfast was excellent. Although very near the seafront, the hotel and surroundings were quiet overnight. Cleethorpes was very pleasant - an excellent antique shop, fabulous estuary views and a marvellous boating lake that looks very natural, with lots of birdlife, while being well-maintained. Good restaurant very helpful staff especially tom went the extra mile for us. Friendly staff and nice food. Good Location, balcony. clean comfort friendly. Outside space to sit. The eveing meal was very good along with the staff. The room was comfortable but small for the price it cost, however the bathroom needs a make over the bath panel needs to be replaced the shower panel needs to be replaced and the radiator needs replacing as it is rusty. No prices on restaurant menu,. We could hear people walking about in the room about, but even this was not really intrusive. Nothing. The wardrobe was very small and hard to get into in my downstairs room. Can't see how it could accomodate one weeks clothes so I would only consider short breaks.The shower head on the bath wasn't adjustable so I couldn't have a shower without getting my hair wet or a bath as I can't get out of a bath. The only reson I wouldn't recommend cleethorps is there is not a lot there for a couple without children but I would go back to cleethorps and stay at the dovedale for the occasion over nite break. Price is slightly higher than others, certain rooms are only accessible through the restaurant and at meal times it is not nice asking people who are eating to allow you past. Nothing! It was all good!. Stayed in a upstairs back room the was curtains up but no blinds or net up cauld see straight out across rd or they cauld see you apart from that very good. Everything was good. Lack of parking. Wi Fi does not function well. Not easy to park. Didn't like the time space they gave you to cancel.as we were goin to cancel one hour after we had booked and it said we couldn'T. Bathroom could have been a bit cleaner - it didnt smell too pleasant. Room was a bit small. Bedding = mattress needs replacing on a regular basis ..wall light broken . Wasnt anything not to like. cleethorpes. room was a little too hot during the night. The staff could possibly do with a few happy pills. difficulty in parking. Given a room where painter was still painting the walls thus relocated to outside room which required refurbish. it was all good. Rooms need up dating. Nothing. nothing. It was mostly fine - but the bed definitely needed a new mattress, and a hairdrier would have helped. At £89 B&B per night, it was a bit expensive for an April Saturday in Cleethorpes. The room No 14 a bit on the small side for a double bad staines on the carpet. Slippery floor in bathroom, over polished! Rooms clean but need some refurbishment I.E. wallpaper peeling and grout in bathroom needs renewing... Parking. slightly over priced for standard of room. Rooms very small bathroom extremely small including the "Jacuzzi" bath wifi was either not working or limited access after dinner my daughter felt ill and spent the whole of Saturday nite being sick. we booked this hotel for relatives from away. When we went prior to the day to settle, felt the reception staff were not welcoming at all. we felt as though it was a inconvenience to take our money. Not impressed at all with that side of it. I booked a double room to which I was charged but was given a family room were we just could not moved for bunk bebs. The shower and toilet both require re plumbing, the breakfast was cold and to make matters worse it was served on a cold plate by poorly trained staff. We booked the room 7 days prior to our arrive when the hotel showed both double, twinn and family rooms avalible but do to our late arrival we was give what was left. This is not on????. family room cramped no bath for small children access to dining room blocked so we had to go outside to access bar area felt very excluded would not stay there again .
