  The rooms were lovely, bespoke & the bed linen was great. Great large well appointed bathrooms too. I appreciated the fact that loads of towels and toiletries were provided although we were both single occupancy in double rooms, often you dont get very much as a single traveller!! The staff members were friendly enough on - We got a really good discount through letsbookhotel.com which made this a real treat for our first valentines day together. All the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful and accommodating! The kitchen and food was also amazing.   I re-visited The Rothesay earlier this month for a stay lasting five nights. As on previous occasions I was welcomed by the owner and shown to my room which I found to be both warm and comfortable. There was a good selection of fresh fruit on the breakfast table as well as the usual cereals etc., A big plus was that I requested an item not genera... mitä ihmiset sanovat » lly on the cooked breakfast menu and this was served perfectly cooked! All in all a very pleasant stay. - The host was welcoming with complimentary tea and cake (genoa?) and informative throughout our stay. The room, ( superior), was clean and comfortable. The breakfast was very good with cereals, juice, fruit and cooked breakfast prepared to order, piping hot. An indoor heated swimming pool was available. The Rothesay is well placed for shopping, eating out, Highcliffe Castle and the beach.Overall very good value for money.

  I stayed at the Avon Causeway due to my lack of organisation and the designated hotel for a friends wedding was full. I'm glad it was. The staff were friendly, the room generously sized and with 'proper coffee' available. Unfortunately I did not sample the dinner menu due to rejoining the wedding party, but it looked fantastic. Recommend. - Had a wedding to attend in christchurch, so just looked for a reasonable priced place to stay. We were very impressed, it is the old Hurn Railway station and breakfast was served in the pullman carriage, it was lovely. Very clean comfortable pub, with lovely beer garden and very good food, wished we could have stayed longer.

Having worked in hotels the Waters Edge certainly comes up to a 4-star standard. There was an exce - My wife and I enjoyed a cheery welcome and lots of thoughtful touches which are not always expected in a B & B. The room was very clean & comfortable. We were attending a family wedding in the afternoon and it wasn't any bother to our hosts to pop back mid-morning and change. There was peace and quiet coupled with comfort and, of course the FANTASTIC breakfasts. Hope the plums in ginger are on when you're there. Utterly scumptious! The whole experience was stupendous and we will be stay
